"Myself and a few friends recently stayed at Kim's house. The house was so comfy. The house is in a little secluded place overlooking a protected marsh. A great pool with a wonderful BBQ area on the back balcony with great seating in and outside the house - comfortable for a large group. You will lack for nothing from a well equipped kitchen to very comfortable beds and many diffrent areas to the house if you want some quiet time. All that was promised was supplied and an owner that was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!"

  • Location, Location, Location...to the beach!

"This was our first time renting a cottage in Montauk as opposed to staying in a hotel. We went with another couple and wanted a place with our own bedrooms with a comfortable common area so that we could eat, hang out and talk and this cottage met the criteria. It was also a short walk to the beach and very secluded from the main road. Alison was there to meet us when we got there and was very helpful with any questions or additional needs that we had. It was clean and quaintly decorated. From what I am told, a lot of the cottages built for only summer use in the similar price range are on the older side, with a rustic feel, and dank smell to them, as was this one. There were 2 bedrooms. The master had a comfortable king size bed, high ceilings and big windows that let in the early light. There were no room darkening shades. So, if you are able to sleep in a fully brightened room it shouldn’t be a problem. There was also a nest or 2 of baby birds living under the roof. Not sure when they leave the nest for good but they tended to get up and started chirping around sunrise (5am) which made sleeping soundly after 5am in the master bedroom a little challenging. The other bedroom was smaller (b/ still a good size) with only 1 window and shades that blocked out the sun. I know that a lot of people prefer a firm/hard mattress but I would consider bringing a foam mattress topper for additional comfort. The kitchen had all the amenities that we needed for our stay and the living room area was very inviting and comfortable. One last thing that didn’t take away from the amazing time we had but did prove to be a bit of an annoyance was the amount of flies that were in the house. When the windows were left open to take advantage of the fresh air/breezes, it appeared that they came in though the small holes in the screens. Needless to say, the fly swatter came in very handy "

  • First class retreat

"Beautiful house and excellent location, a first class retreat! Excellent restaurants nearby, and a fully functioning kitchen with outdoor grill. The best was being outdoors in chilly temperatures in the hot tub. You won't be disappointed!"

  • Great Family Home

"This is the perfect spot for a family vacation. The house is roomy and the decks are great. We travel to Montauk every year with 2 familes with a total of 5 kids and this is the first time we did a house versus hotel rooms. It was so much more relaxing and having laundry makes everything so much easier. The location is great because it is so quiet but you are close to the beach and town. We went to the beach in the morning, came back for a late lunch and used the pool in the afternoon. The owner was extremely accomodating and we hope to go back next year."
