  • Great Relaxation Spot!

"My girlfriends and I came out for a long weekend and were greeted with a wonderful place and warm, friendly owners who took great care to see that we had an enjoyable stay. The place was quiet (perfect for a weekend away from the hustle and bustle that is NYC) and just a stone's throw away from the beach. The owners were there whenever we had questions and continued to check in with us throughout our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly and to see if there was anything further we needed. It was a wonderful experience and I will be telling everyone I know to stay here!"

  • Tucked Away: Montauk Gem

"Our family shared a week at this property-ranging from ages 14 months to 70-somethings, we reveled in this Montauk home.. The owner was astonishing: tended to details , connected us to locals who made the stay both scrumptious and delightful, always offering her hospitlality. The open space provided by the LR was ideal for the babies who explored every nook and cranny. Even the antique wood box aside the hearth provided an ideal spot for our grandson who hasn't gotten his sea-legs quite yet.Located Inches from a secluded beach, we walked the shore, rain or shine, paddled the kyacks and stand-up paddleboards provided, hung-out on the expansive property abutting the lake. The property was clean, amenities provided, and our stay was wonderful. After the rains and winds subsided, we were outside and active til the sun sunk magestically in the West. We ate out at Harvest, which provided a comfortable ambience for the babies and family, but didn't quite compare to the home-made feasts we created from the sea's harvest. The local natural food store was ideal for take-out lunch and supplies. Visiting the Lowenstein home to view the garden sculptures created by its owner to honour their son was a profound experience. The light house was a beacon as well. I recommend this to anyone seeking an authentic Montauk experience."

  • Beautiful House in a Beautiful Neighborhood less than a block to a Perfect Quiet Beach.

"The house alone was perfect for our group of couples. While it was on the cozy side as far as size goes, we never once felt cramped or in need of more space. Finding ourselves spending most day time on the beautiful private beach 100 yards from the house's driveway and most meals being eaten on the porch, the inside of the house had more than enough space and entertainment than we ever found ourselves needing. The kitchen was quaint but had everything we needed to prepare many home cooked meals both in the oven, on the stove and using the outdoor grill. Splitting one bathroom was a concern for us upon arrival however having the addition of an outdoor shower relieved a lot of the worries. Getting ready at night before heading to town took no longer than it would have in our tiny NYC Apartments. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants and a grocery store, had we wanted to avoid the main street all together it wouldn't have been a problem. However the convenience of a short 5 minute drive is all it takes to get to the hustle and bustle of town. The neighborhood the house is in, Culloden, is a quiet family orientated part of Montauk that many don't know exists. All of the neighbors are extremely friendly, we even received some Argentinian Empanada's from Florence next door. The beach is private which keeps it from getting overly crowded allowing our group to enjoy some space to play some beach games, lay out in the sun, and because it is on the north shore could hangout leisurely in the water without being crushed by waves. But what would the house be without a magnificent Landlord. Hillary could not have been more welcoming and willing to help if an issue were to ever arise. It's clear her top priority is for her guests to have an excellent experience while staying at her home and for our group she definitely helped us accomplish that, we cannot thank her enough! I highly recommend this house to anyone who is looking to escape reality for a bit!"

  • Absolutely perfect!!!

"We had the perfect vacation staying here!! This newly renovated place is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need. Because of it's open concept layout, if you open the front and back sliding screen doors just a bit, you get this fantastic summer breeze going thru. We were there in 80/90 degree weather and never once needed to put on the brand new--- (everything's new) air conditioner. The kitchen is a full kitchen (not a kitchenette), and stocked with every possible appliance and gadget you would ever need. We cooked everyday, and also used the outdoor grill. The bed is super cozy and there's plenty of storage space. The terrace is perfect. Because the apt. is located on the 3rd floor and faces west you get the afternoon sunshine and a spectacular view of the ocean and sun-setting sky (Lower situated units are shaded by the terraces above). We loved enjoying our morning coffee and post beach cocktails there! The beach is right across the street, a minute's walk away, and it's a huge beach with just a handful of people, we loved the peace and quiet!! Town is also a 10 minute walk away. Warren was a pleasure to deal with. Although we've been coming to montauk for ever, we've never stayed in a nicer place, and we will be back!!!!"
