  • Wonderful

"We had such an amazing time at Leslie's beautiful home. The proximity to town and the gorgeous water views, with so many outdoor balconies made this vacation ideal. All the rooms were decorated beautifully, with pretty bed linens, spreads, and pillows. The large open living area was so relaxing and Leslie kept the house stocked with whatever we needed: towels, toiletries, coffee, bottles of water, bikes, movies, books, games, etc. The hot tub was also a plus. We would love to stay again sometime. You have a little slice of heaven right here in Montauk. I will recommend this vacation home to everyone, even though I want to keep it for myself. :-)"

  • Perfect for a group!

"There were 10 of us visiting Westhampton for a wedding, and this house was the perfect place for us to sleep, get ready and hang out. Great location to the water and restaurants, plenty of parking and outdoor space. Owner was very accommodating to check in and super responsive for questions pre and post stay. Highly recommend if you need a nice, clean and spacious place to stay and experience Westhampton."

  • Location, Location, Location...to the beach!

"This was our first time renting a cottage in Montauk as opposed to staying in a hotel. We went with another couple and wanted a place with our own bedrooms with a comfortable common area so that we could eat, hang out and talk and this cottage met the criteria. It was also a short walk to the beach and very secluded from the main road. Alison was there to meet us when we got there and was very helpful with any questions or additional needs that we had. It was clean and quaintly decorated. From what I am told, a lot of the cottages built for only summer use in the similar price range are on the older side, with a rustic feel, and dank smell to them, as was this one. There were 2 bedrooms. The master had a comfortable king size bed, high ceilings and big windows that let in the early light. There were no room darkening shades. So, if you are able to sleep in a fully brightened room it shouldn’t be a problem. There was also a nest or 2 of baby birds living under the roof. Not sure when they leave the nest for good but they tended to get up and started chirping around sunrise (5am) which made sleeping soundly after 5am in the master bedroom a little challenging. The other bedroom was smaller (b/ still a good size) with only 1 window and shades that blocked out the sun. I know that a lot of people prefer a firm/hard mattress but I would consider bringing a foam mattress topper for additional comfort. The kitchen had all the amenities that we needed for our stay and the living room area was very inviting and comfortable. One last thing that didn’t take away from the amazing time we had but did prove to be a bit of an annoyance was the amount of flies that were in the house. When the windows were left open to take advantage of the fresh air/breezes, it appeared that they came in though the small holes in the screens. Needless to say, the fly swatter came in very handy "

  • Delightful stay in Shelter Island

"We stayed at Ed's house this summer around Labor Day weekend. It's a charming house with nice bedrooms and bathrooms that look just like the pictures. Almost every room has a beautiful view of the harbor. The grounds are nicely shaded by old walnut and maple trees with plenty of room for our young kids (3 and 5) to play in either the front or the back yard. Our older son didn't want to leave. Although the weather was bad, we still had plenty of diversions. We saw a family of wild turkeys nearly every day patrolling the neighborhood. We also caught several fish off the dock and spotted crabs, birds, and even a sea turtle in the harbor. At many points, Ed checked in to make sure we were having a good stay. In advance of a bad storm, he checked in to make sure we would be prepared. We had a great time and hope to be back soon. Thanks Ed!"
