  • Fabulous accommodations in a quiet community

"A great place to spend a summer vacation. The house was immaculate, spacious, organized and nicely decorated. The kitchen contained all the amenities needed to prepare either a simple breakfast or a gourmet meal. The house was perfectly located - a 5 minute walk to the tennis courts or a 10 minute walk to the beach. Close proximity to Greenport, wineries and restaurants. The homeowner was very accommodating and easy to reach either by phone or e-mail."

  • Charming old family house in peaceful East Marion

"Lovely old home on a quiet, shady, neighborly street with a country store/cafe and the jitney stop only a block away. Orient point's farm stands and beaches are only a few miles away. Also very close to Greenport and Southhold for wineries, seafood, restaurants and the harbor. The house was just like the pictures. Roomy, a nice mix of old and new furnishings but no clutter. The wrap around porch is great for coffee or outdoor meals, the living room seated six comfortably for watching the Olympics, and the big dining room was great for family meals. We used all the kitchen appliances as well as and the charcoal grill and all worked well. The large back garden was also fun for BYO games and there is plenty of room for badminton, croquet, bocce, etc. Allison, the owner, was incredibly responsive with a few little things that popped up during our stay. The only challenges with this house are that, as stated by the owners, there is only one full older-style bathroom (plus a toilet downstairs), and in a very hot week, it would have helped to have central air con rather than only the window units in the bedrooms and fans downstairs. I know the owners plan to put air con in by next summer, which will be a big help! Overall a very good value and a great experience. Would love to come back to this house and area in the autumn when the weather cools down."

  • Beautifully kept house

"We loved our stay at Maria's house! Everything was as described even better. The community is beautiful the sunsets on the private beach were phenomenal and the house was warm and welcoming. The location was perfect- nice and quiet great for walking and easy to access to all . Our only regret was we had to leave. Maria was great in commutating quickly to all questions. I highly recommend to anyone looking to stay on the North Fork . We loved going to Sep's farm stand for fresh vegetables, breakfast at Jeni's Main Street Diner (listen to Cathy the great waitress there and only get 2 pancakes not 3 outrageously good ), Love Lanes Kitchen great for any meal and Red Rooster for a great French dinner. Of course all the vineyards our favorite was Pellgrini -you can go down to the cellars good wine also. Hopefully we will be able to come again next year! Oh and the dogs loved it too!"
