  • Tranquility

"What we enjoyed most about this home was the location. It is just mere steps from the water's edge. At all times we were aware of the birds, the waves, the changing weather...Just lovely. The house is set back from the road in the middle of a natural oasis; we felt hidden away. Terry and her husband made us feel very welcome and cared for, addressing any questions or issues immediately."

  • Perfect in every way

"My husband and I were at loose ends for the Thanksgiving weekend. We were having the floors done at home and needed a place to spend the holiday. Never did I expect such a wonderful surprise. Pindar's photos do not do the property justice. The view from every window is breathtaking. The master loft is gorgeous, with skylights and a very comfy bed. My daughter was cozy in her room. There was everything I needed in the kitchen to prepare a full Thanksgiving dinner. The house is right on Goldsmiths Inlet, the swans, ducks and other birds kept us mesmerized. A deer ran through the yard the first day. The beach is a quick walk away and it is really pretty. We picked up wood and were cozy by the fire all weekend with the lovely wine Pindar left us. The house and yard were immaculate. It was quiet and private. The only thing my husband would have liked is more cable channels. We will definitely be coming back. It felt like a privilege to stay in this perfect little oasis."

  • Bliss

"This cottage exceeds its description! It is easily the most artistic, charming vacation cottage I have ever rented. I never went to the nearby "public" beach, just donned my water shoes, climbed down the swim ladder, and was in heavenly salt water multiple times per day. New Suffolk is the chillest town, and the area is bursting with farm fresh produce and beautiful wine, fresh seafood, and glorious sights. The large deck hangs over the water, and immediately puts one at ease. Gathering here with friends, around the big outdoor table, watching the Wednesday boat race, has built unforgettable memories. The owner is very very responsive, and just wants us to all enjoy this work of art that she has created. There is one neighbor, but the rest of the view is open sky and salt water. I envy you if you rent this place, it is quirky, but in the most wonderful way. I will say, that it felt very spacious because of the large outdoor space. Books abound, and wild bunnies, Osprey, and all kinds of water birds can be spotted in this unspoiled location. The local restaurant, (one block away!) is wonderful for vegetarians and omnivores alike. For a special evening, do not miss North Fork Table and Inn."

"We love staying here. Beautiful views, so quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend. The owner is easy to deal with and very nice and the caretaker is also wonderful. Easy process from the beginning to the end."
