  • Relaxing Chelsea experience!

"The apartment was wonderful! Michael was a very gracious host. He met us upon our arrival with the keys and showed us around. The apartment was cozy, clean and had a well equipped kitchen (there were even home made Christmas cookies in the fridge)! It faced the street but was quiet. Michael provided a list of restaurants in the area. We tried Trestle around the corner on 10th for breakfast. We liked it so much we returned our last day there! Would also recommend Chop Shop for dining in or take out. Great neighborhood, lots to do within walking distance. We've been to NYC many times and have always stayed in hotels. Staying in the apartment was a much more relaxing experience! We will definitely rent this apartment again!"

  • Great place

"My family really enjoyed their stay at the parlor. It is a beautiful apartment. I would not hesitate to stay again and I hope to come back. However, it has quirks that may or may not bother some. The trundle beds are quite comfortable and the queen sized fold out is bearable. We all slept fine. The shower in the kitchen is awkward for anyone requiring privacy during mealtimes, but we easily worked it out amongst ourselves. We loved the location. Quiet for our family with easy access to the subway and Centeal Park. Many great restaurants nearby"

  • Wonderful apartment and location!

"We had a really wonderful stay here, for almost 3 weeks. The location is so handy to the grocery, wine and paper store, the New Museum, one block from NOLITA and lots of action around. Paul and Claudia were great to work with. We have very few issues -changing a light bulb- and it was addressed immediately. The condo has everything you need to make meals, and restaurants abound if you don't want to cook. The view of the Freedom Center and all the street activity was great to watch. My husband had orthopedic surgery and it kept him entertained : ) And the FDR Highway is right there! I can't say enough about the fabulous on site staff. They were so kind and helpful. They helped us send out our laundry, held the door for my husband and were always chipper. If there is a negative, it is the street noise. While we were there, there was road construction and construction of a building next door. There was no noise from inside the building. We quickly used the " White Noise" on our phones and the problem was solved. I would recommend this place in a heart beat."
