  • Great NY apartment for 4!

"I agree with all the positive comments throughout these reviews. The apartment was quaint with comfy beds, good location and good owner. There was one loud night but it didn't keep us up. The place is pretty quiet for NY and I liked the 4th floor. A good space for exploring NYC especially if you take a few minutes to understand the bus systems. There are three major bus lines within 200 ft or less of the apartment and get you quickly to any subway line. For $31 dollars you can get a 7 day Metra card good on all the buses and subs. However, don't hesitate to walk. We walked all the way to Battery park through Little Italy China Town, Greenwich, Soho and back! Loved it."

  • 3 month stay

"I stayed in Noosha and Gregory's apartment for three months over spring 2016. Noosha was easily contactable in the lead up to my stay, answering any questions promptly. It was arranged for Regina to meet me on arrival, and the check in process was very smooth. The apartment has everything you would need for a short or long stay in New York. The apartment is clean, bright and airy, and has both heating and cooling so you would be comfortable all year around. There's music, books, wifi and netflix provided if you need a quiet day relaxing at the apartment, and the fully equipped kitchen allows a break from the fantastic New York eating if you fancy a home cooked meal. Loads of closet space and drawers were made available. There was also plenty of linen and towels so no need to bring that along. The local area is terrific, with plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes around, including a great little wine bar directly across the road. There is a real "village" feel in this part of New York, and I quickly felt a part of the neighborhood, rather than a tourist. I loved the local parks and community gardens scattered all over the East Village. I found the photos and listing to be very accurate. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in New York (noting the stairs - which were great at keeping the holiday weight at bay!). I will definitely re-book when I return to NYC if it hasn't been snapped up already. Thanks Noosha, Gregory and Regina. Cheers Jess"

  • Loved our little "oasis"

"Great modern, extremely spacious apartment. Well equipped with EVERYTHING you need for a comfortable stay. Attention to detail was wonderful. Owner is extremely well organised and communication before arrival made us feel very secure knowing we had booked a great place. The apartment was very clean, beds were comfortable, everything worked. Location is approx 15 minute walk to Union SQ.14th st. where we got trains to anywhere. Many restaurants within 5 minute walk, deli and 7 eleven 1 block away. We felt very comfortable and safe at night. The owner deserves his 5 star rating,"

  • Family-friendly, great location!

"Our family of 6 - including a 9 year old and a 6 month old - enjoyed a wonderful 5 days in NYC at this property. It was very quiet, yet close to subway lines and oodles of delis and shops close by. We "ate in" almost every evening, because the kids don't share the same excitement as adults of NYC nightlife. Some was delivered, some we picked up on our own. Even with the two kids, we walked a lot, and the proximity to 1st Ave was helpful. Grandma & grandpa slept comfortably on the sleeper sofa, the 9 year old "princess" had the smaller BR, and mom & dad shared the other BR with the 6 mo old in a Pack n Play (furnished by Bruce). Bruce gave us very helpful advice abouit places to go, when to arrive, etc., that added to our fun. Considering that we spent less than the cost of two hotel rooms in the center of Manhattan, we feel we also got good value. Not quite as comfy as our own home (and beds), but very good for the cost we incurred."
