  • Spacious 2 bedroom waterfront

"Ligia was the most wonderful host I have ever dealt with. The minute I arrived, Ligia learned that I was very very sick with a horrible flu & she made sure I was ok and offered any help to get me better quickly. The apartment I stayed in was the second floor 2 bedroom and it was the most spacious apartment I've ever stayed in (I visit NY regularly and am used to tiny places). This was my first time staying over the Hudson in NJ & I will never stay in Manhattan again! It was perfect! The apartment had a gorgeous balcony off of the front bedroom which gives you the most amazing panoramic view of the Manhattan skyline! I was there for Christmas and New Years & the views were everything! It was hard to actually go places for the fact that I didn't want to leave my view! The apartment feels very homely and had everything you need, great kitchen appliances so that you can cook at home to save some money, Comfortable beds, a great shower. And it is so spacious, you could comfortably have a family of 5 stay here. Transport was fantastic as the private buses and NJ transit stop right our front every few minutes and for $3 will take you straight to Times Square within 10/15mins. And it's super easy to get back. There are a few supermarkets around, it's greys to just walk around weehawken and get familiar with what's around you, whatever you need is definitely in close proximity. There is nothing I can fault with my stay & I will definitely be back again soon. Ligia you are a beautiful soul! ❤️"

  • A great New York foothold

"The owners were very welcoming and eager to be sure we had all the info we needed for a comfy stay. The location is fantastic with everything a few blocks away or much closer. We were comfortable in weather in the low 80s with the fans even with no AC. All gigantic pre war windows had screens with a good cross breeze. The loft itself is homey, artful, spotlessly clean and felt safe. The Internet was fine if we were seated with a clear path to the router. We had no trouble with it. Cable large screenTV (we spent very little time with it but it was nice to have) in both bedrooms, washer/dryer and nice appliances."

  • Perfect Manhattan Aerie

"This is a great place for a NYC visit. I am a former New Yorker who knows the city fairly well; my husband and I were visiting my adult children who live and work in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The apartment is roomy enough that my NYC-dwelling offspring were jealous (!), it is clean, comfortable and quiet, and high enough to have fabulous views of the city and the river. Restaurants, wine bars, groceries, subways, and venues like Lincoln Center are all within walking distance. We could walk to the river or to Central Park, and it was a straight subway shot to Brooklyn as well. In addition, a well-stocked kitchen gave me the option for a few meals "at home," including a dinner with kids and partners. Jeannie and Ray met me at the door and made me feel welcome instantly; they were very responsive to texts when I had questions. This was my first foray into VRBO rentals in NYC and I was not only not disappointed but I was thoroughly pleased. Soooo much better than being in a hotel! I would stay here again in a NY nanosecond"
