  • Village Living!

"A nice size 1 Bedroom Apartment ON 14th St. Location Location Location. Close to Union Square and subways. Quiet apartment in the back, (not bright in the day....but who is home in the day in NYC unless you're trying to catch some zzz's and believe it or not you can there.) Full kitchen and bathroom, large closet, and sofa bed in the Living Room for extra guests or late night movie watching! Lara was very nice in accommodating our early check in time and everything was very clean and ready. I highly recommend it for a NYC trip. You can go to the East or West side easily, and the East Village is now very fun and hip with restaurants and shops galore! I highly recommend this apartment and at NY prices it's a steal! Tompkins Square bagels is a great way to start your day and close by! Union Square has a winter craft market, and a farmer's market year round!"

  • A nook in china town close to subway and lots of culture

"The place was easy to find, close to the subway and clean. The owner was helpful and all went smoothly. We had a good vacation. The apartment is a bit dark, but it served its purpose. No complaints. The owner was also very responsive with getting back to us. Chinatown is an experience in itself."

  • JEWEL IN THE BIG APPLE!

"I've been fortunate enough to stay at Shani and Albert's on two occasions, most recently in September 2016. It is a truly fabulous apartment - a fascinating mix of industrial fittings (with pipes running the length of the high walls and across the ceiling) and gorgeous antique furnishings. The walls are dotted with Albert's impressionist and post-impressionist paintings and there are a myriad of beautiful objects to stare at and enjoy. Lots of light streams through the tall windows and you can catch both the Chrysler and the Empire State buildings from the spacious living area. The bathrooms are wonderfully maintained and well stocked with soft towels, soaps and creams. Noting the comment re the lack of air conditioning, while I haven't stayed in the middle of summer and I am an Australian, there are multiple ceiling fans which I'm confident would cool all aspects of the apartment. Finally, there are fantastic supermarkets and delis nearby and it is a short walk to the heart of NYC. Shani and Albert are a complete delight and I hope I have the good fortune to stay in their home again. Kirstin"

  • Girls Weekend

"When we arrived, we were moved from this apartment to another one with 2 bathrooms....bonus!! This apartment has an elevator and a doorman. It was so close to everything! We could walk to Central Park, Times Square, etc. It is an older building, but the bedrooms were nicely decorated and linens, beds were comfortable. The only thing that I could say (and not really complaining) is that the heat was on and it was on HIGH. it was centrally controlled, so we could not make it cooler. So, it was December and cold outside. This is a good neighborhood with lots of little shops and great little delis and restaurants. There was 4 of us and we were quite comfortable in a 3 bedroom/2 bath."
