  • Parisian Chic

"first floor apartment 1.5 blocks from Central Park West (very north end of the park). No street noise just the usual apartment noise. The apartment building is in good shape with a marble entryway with chandelier and very well lit. The apartment has two tiny bedrooms, kitchen and living room. My husband referred to the apartment as the Parisian love nest and I just call it Parisian chic. Due to its location on the first floor the apartment is dark however there are no stairs to drag your suitcases up with the exception of a few steps that get you into the apartment building. The kitchen is quite sparse but has the mandatory dishes and cutlery. If you were to cook you would have to buy all of your supplies including cooking oils, pepper, spices etc. We even had to go buy toilet paper as there was none in the apartment. Other VRBO rentals we've used had all the basics but this one did not. The neighborhood is spicy but we felt very safe. Shopping is just a few blocks away and there is a great subway block three blocks away."

  • Ergotherapeute in NYC

"Very convenient location, close to all public transit including the M60 bus to LaGuardia. Thomas is very efficient in his communications and the location is easy to find. I was a little disappointed to find out that smoking was permitted in the apartment with the windows open. I was not aware of that until the final e-mail with the address. One could tell that there had been smokers in the apartment, however it was very clean."

  • Great apartment!

"My husband, sons and I stayed here for about a week for vacation. The apartment was in pristine condition---very clean and well kept. It had everything we needed. Conveniently located near Central Park and the 110th St. Subway Station. Our family had a wonderful stay!"

  • great townhouse for our large group!

"Spacious townhouse on 4 floors: basement with a pullout sofa, bathroom, and TV. 1st floor with living room and kitchen; 2nd and 3rd floors with a bathroom and 2 bedrooms each - one bedroom with a queen bed and the other bedroom on each floor with two twin beds. Location is what it is - close to Central Park, close to lots of restaurants and bars on Columbus, Broadway, and Amsterdam, close to Columbia and Morningside Heights, and so on. Either you want to be there, or you don't. It was a nice 30 minute walk to the theatre area. Easy to get around with Gett, Via, Lyft, and Uber. Three heads-ups: First, the bedrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors use a pretty narrow staircase; not an issue for us, but keep that in mind. Second, the kitchen is not stocked with anything consumable; there's a Whole Foods nearby and a few small markets around the corner. Third, noise from the street travels into the house surprisingly well; not a big deal, but if you are expecting complete silence of a hotel, this isn't the place for you. The property managers were easy to work with. All in all, it was a great find for us and we'd return in a heartbeat."
