  • Great Lodging Experience

"The bedroom was small and the bathroom even smaller but with access to the rest of the apartment, we lived in luxury. This 7th floor apartment was serviced by an elevator, a necessity for me. Samuel was a wonderful host. We seldom saw him but when we needed something he appeared like magic. The neighbourhood provided everything we needed in a safe environment. There were restaurants, parks, tourist sites, and easy access to subways with direct routes into the downtown areas. I would highly recommend this location and would stay again in a heartbeat."

  • Great studio in the Financial District

"I stayed in Tim's apartment for almost 2 weeks. We had a great time. The apartment is super clean and it looks exactly like the photos. Tim was a great guest and he gave us lots of information on things to do in New York. The breakfast on the roof deck did not offer expresso or latte which I need to function in the morning. The location is excellent. so many cute restaurants and I love the river side park only 1 block away. It was easy getting around Manhattan since all the subways are close by. I cant wait to come back next year."

  • great townhouse for our large group!

"Spacious townhouse on 4 floors: basement with a pullout sofa, bathroom, and TV. 1st floor with living room and kitchen; 2nd and 3rd floors with a bathroom and 2 bedrooms each - one bedroom with a queen bed and the other bedroom on each floor with two twin beds. Location is what it is - close to Central Park, close to lots of restaurants and bars on Columbus, Broadway, and Amsterdam, close to Columbia and Morningside Heights, and so on. Either you want to be there, or you don't. It was a nice 30 minute walk to the theatre area. Easy to get around with Gett, Via, Lyft, and Uber. Three heads-ups: First, the bedrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors use a pretty narrow staircase; not an issue for us, but keep that in mind. Second, the kitchen is not stocked with anything consumable; there's a Whole Foods nearby and a few small markets around the corner. Third, noise from the street travels into the house surprisingly well; not a big deal, but if you are expecting complete silence of a hotel, this isn't the place for you. The property managers were easy to work with. All in all, it was a great find for us and we'd return in a heartbeat."

  • Excellent Townhouse Apartment

"My wife and I along with our son (26) and daughter (21) stayed in this one bed room townhouse apartment for six nights from 27 December 2016. This well maintained apartment is as described in the owner's advertisement. I would have no hesitation in recommending staying in the apartment. Rick, the owner, met us when we arrived. After briefing us on the key features of the apartments and its appliances, we had time to discuss tips for enjoying New York. Rick is very hospitable and is very helpful in dealing with any queries. The apartment is located in an area which has a Spanish speaking community. The location is safe and at no time did we ever feel uncomfortable. Indeed all the people we interacted with in the immediate locality were welcoming and friendly. MTA New York City Subway 137 Street City College stop is a few minutes stroll from the apartment. A seven day MTA ticket ($31) provides access to the subway and buses. Line 1 (137 Street City College) on the Downtown/South Ferry line takes approx approx 20-25 minutes to travel to Time Square. The subway is easy to navigate and gives access to most popular tourist sites within the City. There is a supermarket located beside the subway stop on 137th Street which has a wide range of products to suit all tastes. On the walk back to the townhouse apartment from the subway stop, there is a McDonalds and an excellent Mexican restaurant/bar. We also made use of and recommend the Chinese take away located on the corner of Broadway/140th Street. Staying in this locality gives a real experience of life in New York!"
