  • Charming place, lively (yet quiet) neighborhood

"The apartment is very well equipped, Maria is extremely responsive and the neighborhood is quiet, yet easily accessible to the bus or the L train. I have already recommended the booking team and the apartment to family members and would happily stay there again."

  • Very nice place!

"My wife and I stayed at Bruce's place Sept 6 through Sept 11 and found it convenient, comfortable, and a great location. My adult daughter stayed two nights in the loft area, and also was highly complementary of the accommodations. The private outdoor garden with its views of the city is an added delight. The neighborhood appears safe and open. There is a girl's public school across the street and the neighborhood is full of families and children -- but not noisy. There are grocery stores and delis close at hand. I got a mango every morning from the street vendor on 1st Avenue (at $1, a great deal, but possibly seasonally available). The L subway line is within 2 blocks. The L then connects to all lines going north/South in Manhattan, including the battery/World Trade Center, Times Square as well as the Upper East and West Sides of the island. I took several walks both east and west of the location and found the neighborhoods delightful. A truly New York City experience, with short or long walks to lots of locations between Soho and midtown. We look forward to a future visit at Bruce's place."

  • Great location!

"My daughter, her friends and I had a great stay in this apartment. Beware that it is "railroad style" which means you have to walk through each bedroom to get to the next. That was fine with us as we are all girls and comfortable with each other. It would earn 5 stars if the landlord would attend to some minor "handyman" issues. Bathroom mirror would not stay closed, shower curtain was too long and therefore it was being stepped on while we were showering, art work could be upgraded, some rooms could use a fresh coat of paint, and there was some stuff around (used paint cans). Again, an enjoyable stay, I am just being honest and I would stay there again, the improvements would be a bonus."

  • Wonderful unit---Great for families

"Our family (2 adults, 2 kids) spent the last week during the blizzard in this unit. We were very happy with the space and the kitchen equipment. The apartment looked exactly like in the pictures. We would absolutely recommend the apartment."
