  • Clean, Quiet and Safe

"My friend and I loved our stay here! We wanted a real Brownstone neighborhood experience during our visit to NY, and we got exactly that. The apartment was full of lovely (some quirky!) architectural details, yet the bathroom and kitchen were very modern and upgraded. It was very clean. We didn't do any cooking, but the kitchen was great for storing leftovers. Sheila recommended some wonderful local restaurants that we enjoyed. Halsey St. had a couple of unique coffee shops, one a bakery also, just a few blocks east that were very nice. The subway stations were a short walk, and the bus to downtown Brooklyn drives right past the house. The only 'negatives' were the TV channels available (which we were too busy to watch much anyway) and that the bed and pillows were encased in a plastic covering that made the otherwise comfortable mattress kind of 'crunchy'. I would give the apartment 4-1/2 stars. We would stay again!"

  • Great Brooklyn Apartment

"We stayed here for 4 days over Thanksgiving weekend. Great apartment. Very comfortable and has everything you need for cooking a Thanksgiving dinner. (I did bring my own pan to cook the Turkey but that was it). The apartment is in a great location right near the subway and many good restaurants close by. Not far from Trader Joe's if you need to pick up groceries. Plenty of parking since you are on the same street as a school. Very quiet. Noreen is wonderful to work with and she gets back to you quickly if you need anything. We also enjoyed the treats she left for us. Was a very much appreciated since we had been driving all day. We will definitely stay here again."

  • Great Location!

"The location of this condo is fantastic - just a short walk to Times Square. We had 3 women stay here, and it was perfect for us with plenty of room. The 2nd bath was a great selling point for us over many other properties we considered. Another nice thing is the daily maid service, and 24 hour front desk, so late check-ins are not a problem. The condo is nicely furnished and is comfortable - with the exception of the lumpy sofa bed. If you are driving, there is valet parking available for $35 per day. Roger was very accommodating when our flight was cancelled (twice!) and we ended up arriving a day late. The condo was available the next night, so he allowed us to stay another night at the end of our trip. :) The kitchen isn't really set up for cooking, but does include a microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher - as well as dishes, silverware & glasses. For getting around NY, we purchased Gray Line hop-on hop-off bus tickets. That took us everywhere we wanted to go and that included city tours as well. We loved the back stage tour of radio city music hall, and it was a bargain at $12. There are plenty of restaurants and grocery options nearby as well as a lounge in the building that serves breakfast. We did not use that, so I can't comment on it. All in all, this was a great place to stay, and I would stay here again when visiting NYC!"
