  • Perfect location with super friendly people and a gracious host.

"My daughter and I loved staying in this quaint studio for 2 weeks! Tim was over the top friendly, informative and attentive to our needs and safety. The bed was very comfortable, the AC was great and the shower had great pressure. Good size fridge for snacks, breakfasts and lunch. A little snug for cooking but we preferred to eat out. I would definitely rent here again!"

  • A great find

"My wife and I went to NY in mid-October for a five day trip just to relax. We knew we wanted to be in the upper west or east side and near Central Park. This apartment was an incredible find. Viren was very responsive to our inquiries, booking with her was easy and she was very accommodating to make sure we could have access when we arrived late on a Friday night. The apartment was very spacious with a full kitchen including some food and spices. The bed was extremely comfortable and the entire apartment looked over a courtyard so we got no street noise. It was hot for a few days while we were there and the air conditioners worked great. We were one block from Central Park and the Met Museum of Art and close walking distance to the Guggenheim and the subway on Lexington Ave. We have rented VRBO properties across the US and in Paris and this was right at the top. I highly recommend it. The only thing you should be aware of is that it is on the second floor and the one flight of stairs is a little steep. But I am in my 60's and had no problem negotiating it. • Lots Good, Some Not So Much

"This was the 2nd time we stayed here. Last year there were only two of us, this time three. This time we rented the entire apartment and suite. I don't think more than two people would find the apartment comfortable for sleeping, which is why we also rented the "suite." The owner is VERY accessible since she lives upstairs and she is very responsive. She also knows the city inside and out and has made lots of great suggestions in a notebook in the apartment. The apartment is well located, easy walking distance to both subway and buses. It is on a residential street with restaurants and shops nearby. It's on the ground floor, so no flights to climb. The kitchen is very modern and well stocked with plates, pots, silverware, etc. There is a dishwasher. The adjoining dining table is quite suitable. Bonus feature: a large (for NY) backyard with table and chairs. Really unheard of in NY. Sadly, most of the furniture is rather shabby and badly worn. There are two new chairs in the LR, but the sofa and day bed are really bad. The bathroom with shower is in the bedroom, so anyone needing the toilet at night has to come through the bedroom, waking those asleep there. The "suite" has its own powder room. The bathroom has a distinctively moldy smell, even if the fan is constantly left running. I think this apartment is very roomy for NY, very well located and on a lovely tree-lined street."
