  • Good

"The apartment was great. The location was awesome close to Central Park and the subway. Our only complaint would be we did not have WiFi. It was there and was suppose to be supplied. There was no way of knowing what the network was called or the password. We Emailed Dov but he didn't seem to know either. WiFi is important to have when you are out of country. Data roaming charges can add up quick. A piece of paper with the network name and password taped to the modem would solve this for the next renter"

  • A great find

"My wife and I went to NY in mid-October for a five day trip just to relax. We knew we wanted to be in the upper west or east side and near Central Park. This apartment was an incredible find. Viren was very responsive to our inquiries, booking with her was easy and she was very accommodating to make sure we could have access when we arrived late on a Friday night. The apartment was very spacious with a full kitchen including some food and spices. The bed was extremely comfortable and the entire apartment looked over a courtyard so we got no street noise. It was hot for a few days while we were there and the air conditioners worked great. We were one block from Central Park and the Met Museum of Art and close walking distance to the Guggenheim and the subway on Lexington Ave. We have rented VRBO properties across the US and in Paris and this was right at the top. I highly recommend it. The only thing you should be aware of is that it is on the second floor and the one flight of stairs is a little steep. But I am in my 60's and had no problem negotiating it. • Love this place.

"This was our second visit and we love it. The beds are great. The two bathrooms make a big difference. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only negative we can state is that we both had pads (we didn't on our first visit) and the wifi kept going out. We turned the router off and on but it didn't help. That being said we will be back. We do love it and thanks Lucia."

  • Apt 168 - New York City Stay

"The apartment was fairly nice. We had enough room to move around. I'd like to let the owners know that they could de-calcify the shower head. Also, the refrigerator would leak water now and then. I think the temps for the refrigerator and freezer need adjusting. Water would just show up on the floor. We tracked it to the refrigerator. Later in our stay (10 days), I tried to adjust the temp settings. We placed some unused wash cloths in the bottom left corner to help absorb the water - it helped a little. We like having access to the washer and dryers. It was convenient to use. The apartment was a little light at night - my wife likes it pitch black and she doesn't like putting on the night blinders that you supplied. I slept well. The apartment was also a little noisy at night - again my wife doesn't like putting in ear plugs (which you supplied), but we slept well anyway! The apartment was not too far from Time Square. We got a lot of good walking in. We never felt nervous about walking in the evening (when it was dark). The doorman (Reggie) was really nice and pointed out a great grocery store 1/2 block away. Thanks 'Mr. October'! All in all our stay was very pleasant."
