  • A well maintained home great for a large family.

"Having three separate seating areas - the living room, the kitchen, and the game room was perfect. In warmer weather there is a beautiful patio too for a fourth area. Aamir met us and showed us all of the spots to hit in the neighborhood for meals, groceries, activities, and more. He's very responsive, we were well taken care of and we had everything we needed for 10 people. One day we went in and out of Manhattan twice, that can get lengthy, but the station isn't far and service seemed frequent."

  • Fabulous place ! True home away from home. Spotless clean and looks exactly as on the pictures.

"My son And I came to New York for the US Open. Amy's house was exactly what we were looking for. It is in the quiet, safe, residential area, very close to the train station, supermarket, restaurants and a park. So it was very nice to relax there after busy day at the US Open and after all day shopping in Manhattan. Thank you Amy for sharing your home with us."

  • nothing hidden and extremely nice owner. thanks for the great stay!

"When we got to New York the owner had already sent us all the information we needed (address, key code, WiFi password). Cab fare was about $30 to the apartment from LaGuardia . There was a sign on the inside door welcoming us and letting us know which door was to our apartment. The apartment was cute, just like the pictures and clean. There is no living room and you get exactly whats in the pictures. The kitchen is equipped with the basics and we lacked for a pitcher for iced tea, a measuring cup, and wash clothes but we still managed. Some of the furniture was a little rickety and the beds are quite firm. Plenty of towels and pillows were provided. The owner came by and met with us the next morning and asked if we needed anything and provided us with some extra blankets. He was a very nice and gracious man and we felt genuinely welcomed. He also allowed us to stay a couple hours late on check out (because we had an evening flight out) free of charge. Everything worked (although the toilet is a bit wobbly) and we had no trouble with heat or hot water. The laundry room is downstairs and is a pay laundry so you'll need some quarters,$1.50 to wash and $1.00 to dry. You can hear quite a bit through the walls and we had some noisy downstairs neighbors for a couple nights but they did keep it down once we told them we were heading to bed. The subway is only about 3 minute walk around the corner, and there is a grocery store, Walgreens, fast food, locale food, liquor store, taverns and more all within walking distance. All in all, it was a great place to stay to experience Queens, we didn't feel unsafe and it was very convenient to the rest of NYC. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!"

  • Perfect Townhouse

"Stayed for a week in the 3 bed 2 bath town house. I was impressed from the time I opened the door. Just a perfect place for all four of us. Excellently decorated, fully furnished. Had everything we needed to include plenty of towels etc. Bayside is a beautiful town to look around. Train station was a two minute walk from the house. We were so happy to get back to the house after spending the Lang days in the city. Can't wait to go back. Owner is fabulous and was very easy to work with. Just a great experience all round."
