  • Perfect

"Our family stayed at the cottage for a week. All was perfect. We had a family reunion on the island and had families staying in other cottages and while each family member loved the uniqueness of his or her own cottage, all said ours was PERFECT and were a bit envious!"

  • Didn't have to leave the house!!!

"Overall we were looking for a low key waterfront property for 10 people and this was the best!! The three balconies added panoramic views all day as we watched the many boats come in and out of the marina. We also were close enough in town to walk in and explore A-Bay. The owner made it easy to coordinate payments and the neighbors were also great people! Can't wait to go back!"

  • Wonderful Cottage!

"We stayed for two weeks. The cottage is lovely. Very informal and comfortable. It's placed in a cove which the wind comes off the river keeping the cottage cool in the hot afternoons. Thousand Island Park is a place out of time with vintage Victorian cottages, wide open green spaces and an atmosphere of friends and family...almost like a Norman Rockwell portrait. TIP is well located where you can cross over to to Canada or take a drive through the Adirondacks. We had a great time. Mary the owner is very helpful. Will absolutely go back."

  • Scratch Pad - Charming and comfortable cottage

"Our family group gathered for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the island. The cottage was perfectly located, close to everything we needed. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The wrap around porch was great for lounging and enjoying the ambiance. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed. It was great having the washer and dryer to avoid hauling lots of dirty laundry back home. Matt was very welcoming on our arrival and advised us of local attractions that we should take in. Everyone we met on the island were so friendly and shared the history and unique features of this charming place. And everyone knew Scratch Pad! Seems like we shared a piece of history for that week and we will definitely be back again."
