  • Beautiful!

"The house and the property were beautiful. My family enjoyed having the 200 acres to explore. Really I would give it a 4 1/2 star rating. My family wants to go back!"

  • Perfect for what we needed

"The Maxwell House was the perfect place for us! Myself, my boyfriend, our dog, and another couple had an enjoyable and comfortable time staying there. We spent a lot of our time in Downtown Asheville so the house was mainly used for sleeping/showering, but it was fully equipped with a kitchen, TV with a Roku, washer/dryer, and big bathroom. The Maxwell's provided us with homemade honey, a bottle of wine, and lots of coffee for the Keurig. We would definitely stay here again! For dog parents--there is a dog park about 10 min form their house that we went to twice during our stay. There are a lot of woods around the area but I would avoid them with your pet."

  • A walk into serenity

"My husband, dog, and I couldn't have been more entranced by this charming cabin, its surroundings, and its owners. Not a false note anywhere. And the considerate presentation and amenities that GeGe and her husband Brian provided--well, we've never encountered anything like it. Think of being in a first-rate B&B except that all the space is yours. The surrounding communities were both interesting and beautiful, and the proximity to Asheville and other points of interest, both cultural and natural, were fantastic. We highly recommend the Glass Onion in Weaverville for a first-class dining experience. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer than 5 nights in this delightful, beautiful part of the US. But we'll be back and will be recommending both Asheville and the Sinclair place to friends and family. Great job providing us a home away from home, GeGe, Brian, and little Ava, perhaps the most charming child this side of the Mississippi. Sandra, Grahame, and Skobie"
