  • Great weekend getaway

"The house was perfect for our large group of 8. Convenient enough to downtown Asheville. The owners are very nice and helpful. Will be back for sure!"

  • Country Classic Rustic with Modern Amenities

"Very satisfied with this stay! The log cabin has a fantastic balance of old rustic country charm, modern amenities, classic antiques, and Native American decor. The owner provides adequate linens, shower gel, laundry detergent, tissue, and dish detergent in the cabin for your stay. There is a full size washer and dryer right near the kitchen. The interior is tastefully decorated with Native American art and old country farm items to impeccable detail. The bedroom area has a very cool vanity mirror made from an old horse saddle. The toilet paper holder looks like deer horns and the shower rod is a tree branch. On top of the kitchen cabinets are nostalgic pieces like an old camera, classic cars, etc. The leather love seat and chair have a warm broken-in feel. The bed! Wow, the bed! It's made from old logs that have been artfully pieced together. The mattress is very comfortable. The fenced in back yard is a nice play space for pets or small children. A staircase from the deck or other gateway entrance is not there. Adding a segue would be a nice enhancement. The owner is very friendly and responsive to questions and accommodation needs. The location is ideal if you want a balance of the city and country. Just a quick drive to a plethora of dining, shopping, and cultural attractions in Asheville. And finally, the cabin has the perfect combination of the masculine and the feminine and is equally appealing to both or between."

  • A walk into serenity

"My husband, dog, and I couldn't have been more entranced by this charming cabin, its surroundings, and its owners. Not a false note anywhere. And the considerate presentation and amenities that GeGe and her husband Brian provided--well, we've never encountered anything like it. Think of being in a first-rate B&B except that all the space is yours. The surrounding communities were both interesting and beautiful, and the proximity to Asheville and other points of interest, both cultural and natural, were fantastic. We highly recommend the Glass Onion in Weaverville for a first-class dining experience. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer than 5 nights in this delightful, beautiful part of the US. But we'll be back and will be recommending both Asheville and the Sinclair place to friends and family. Great job providing us a home away from home, GeGe, Brian, and little Ava, perhaps the most charming child this side of the Mississippi. Sandra, Grahame, and Skobie"
