  • Great couples weekend! :)

"We had a wonderful weekend here! The house was very neat, cozy, and clean. It was a little cold when we first got there but after starting a fire and getting the heaters going it warmed right up! We had a 3 couples staying and had plenty of room for everyone. We loved the fireplace, grilling out, the sound of the creek from the porch, and playing board games in the loving room. Also, we went snow tubing at Moonshine Mountain about 30 minutes away and had a blast. We found a great Mexican place called Tequilas in Hendersonville that was great! We got up early and drove to "The Edge of the World" that was suggested and watched the sunrise! It was breathtaking! On our way back we saw another snow tubing place right near the cabin called Black Bear Snow Tubing. We will definitely try this place out next year! We also went to Dupont State Forest Park about 45 minutes from the house. We hiked to 3 different waterfalls and a covered bridge. It was beautiful but definitely a HIKE! The owners were very helpful and nice. We will surely stay again soon. Note.... the roads are very winding to the cabin so drive slowly."

  • Cozy cabin close to numerous outdoor adventures

"Our family booked a last minute trip to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. Toni was quick to reply to my email and she was eager to answer all of my questions both prior to and during our stay. The cabin is a such a gem, built with huge logs from the 20 acre property. The stone fireplace was a cozy place to gather with our young kids on chilly mornings. The cabin has everything you need and things are well-labeled to help guests feel settled in quickly. We spent time playing in the yard as well as at the creek on the property. We also hiked at nearby Beech Mountain, visited the Moses Cone Estate, and walked around Price Lake. The towns of Banner Elk and Valle Crucis have small shops and markets within a 15 minute drive. We felt like we were able to enjoy a balance of quiet family time with active endeavors while making wonderful memories! Thank you, Toni, for your hospitality and for sharing such a special place with us. We will certainly look forward to future visits!"

  • Nice and Convenient!

"My husband and I stayed here with a group of friends for New Year's Eve. It was the perfect location - nice views, quiet atmosphere and close to downtown Hendersonville. The kitchen/living room area is open and really nice for gathering/hanging out. It really fit our needs well and the benefit of it being dog-friendly was even better! Jess was incredibly responsive during all of the planning as well. We hope to return to this spot in the future!"
