  • Cute cabin

"Wonderful, cute place! We loved waking up to the rosters in the morning. The place was very clean, the bed comfortable. We hope to stay again and have our grand daughter meet the roosters!"

  • Beautiful Cabin...Best Vacation Ever

"Amazing!! Our family had a wonderful time in this beautiful cabin!! The pictures don't capture the beauty of this home, with beautiful decor, breath taking views of the leaves changing color, and state of the art amenities. The owner, Mr. Bundy was very gracious answering all my questions and was a pleasure to work with. Off the parkway, we visited the Orchards at Altapass were my parents picked apples right off the tree, listen to Bluegrass and enjoyed a hot cup of apple cider. Already making future plans to visit this gem tucked away in the NC mountains. Highly recommended!!"

  • A little piece of Heaven!

"We arrived in the Old Fort area on a very warm Saturday morning. Started to reconsider going to North Carolina mid summer, glad we came. The mountain home was AMAZING! It was definitely cooler up top. The house was spotless with more amenities than mentioned in the HomeAway website. In fact, there was nothing lacking for what we were cooking or during leisure. The house was already cooled when we arrived. The view from the deck was beautiful whether it was sunrise, watching a storm go across the valley below, or watch the sunset! There was the cutest nook off the spare room with a lovely stone wall and gnome watching your every move. The landscaping of this area was extremely inviting. The decks had plenty of space with outdoor furniture for lounging or dining. We used the gas grill hard and had a much better view than any restaurant in the area. Places we enjoyed while there: Of course we loved the relaxed atmosphere at Phil's Bar-B-Que Pit. We did a Paddle board tour in Asheville area of the French Broad River. This was booked with Kyle of Mauii SUP (stand up paddleboarding). Kyle was amazing with his patience for helping us succeed. And the Biltmore Mansion is well worth going to. Go early as the crowd assembles early and there is a lot to see. The gardens rival our local Longwood Gardens. The Blue Ridge Parkway was also amazing. We went to Little Switzerland for a lovely dinner overseeing the valley below. All in all it was a fairly central location for all that we chose to do. Lynne made sure we had detailed instructions for everything from locating the home to how to manage everything in the home. We could not have asked for anything more!"

  • Late summer vacation

"We recently spent nearly 2 weeks at this lovely lakeside property. Easily accommodated 6 adults. We enjoyed grilling out and eating and relaxing on the large covered back porch. Lots of nearby shopping and scenic sights to experience. The back porch setting is elevated like being in a treehouse - lovely and serene. No bear sightings, but lots of hummingbirds in the trees. Great location for some mountain R & R!"
