  • We really enjoyed our stay at 101 Hornbeam Rd. The property was super clean and quaint.

"The beds were comfortable with nice bedding, the bath linens were very plush, the kitchen was well equipped with everything you need and more. Very short distance from ski slopes-you can even walk if need be-about 1/4 mile. We would definately stay there again!"

  • Started planning our next stay the moment we walked in!!

"The area this house is in is amazing!! Quiet street, there is a awesome hiking trail at the end of the street. The house has everything you could need and most importantly, the master bedroom is super comfortable!!!"

  • Great little place!

"Great place for the money! Our family of 4 enjoyed a 3-day getaway here. Linda was very helpful & communicated all necessary details. Kitchen was very well equipped. Clean & safe. A walk across parking lot 2 & up a hill gets you to the bottom of the slopes at Beech Mtn Resort... that came in handy with a fresh snowfall. The only slightly negative would be that the beds aren't very comfy..."

  • Home Away From Home Getaway

"Immediately, upon arrival, you'll feel at home. Spacious but cozy, a patio deck with plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors (and bbq which was perfect for cookouts) and a front balcony which goes from end to end for amazing views. The kitchen was full of cookware and all we needed was a quick visit to Food Lion Grocery Store. However, if dining out is what you prefer, there is plenty to choose from on Beech Mountain and neighboring Banner Elk. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable, bathrooms are clean and new. The living room and adjacent fireplace made nights entertaining and fun. Our host was courteous, professional and friendly from initial contact to the very end answering every phone call or email in a very timely manner with answers or links to places that could help us out. The deer love to stop by on a regular basis, usually 2 at a time, but we had that one moment where 8 just strolled on through. If you love the outdoors but like the convenience and amenities of home, this could be the perfect getaway. Between my wife and I, my kids, and my mom, we can all give you our different reasons why we loved this Beech Mountain House and our stay, but we strongly recommend you find out for yourselves."
