  • Charming house! Close to Beech Slopes!

"Nice house very, very close to Beech skiing. House is comfortable and has great views from the back decks and is very private. Perfect for our family of 4- two floors each with great TVs with Netflix, downstairs pool table (a bit tight on space but still fun), 2 clean bathrooms with plenty of shower pressure, beds were comfy, cool decor and fun little artistic flourishes here and there. Steps going down are super tight and winding, but outside steps also make downstairs accessible. Fenced in yard was great for our dog, but my dog got out once at deck area so be careful. Bring k-cups for the coffee maker or go buy them at Fred's! Overall a great house - book it before we do again!!a"

  • Couldn't have been better!

"This condo has everything that you could possible need or want! Brad is fast to reply to emails and the management company was easy to work with. If you're looking for something close to Beech Mountain, this is the place! This was my first experience with HomeAway and I couldn't be happier. Thanks for sharing your home with the public! We will be coming back next year :)"

  • Great vacation spot!

"We rented the cabin for a snowboarding trip, and the place was simply perfect. There were 4 true bedrooms, and an extra (what I would call "play room") with a set of bunk beds that we never used. Each room had at least a queen sized bed (as far as I could tell), and there were plenty of blankets and comforters. We set the thermostats on "medium" and kept the bedroom doors closed, and the rooms stayed nice and toasty even as the temperatures dropped into the teens. The kitchen was well stocked, and we had everything that we needed. I would recommend bringing your own toilet paper, paper towels, and tin foil as those are left from prior renters and can be hit or miss. Also, storage containers (for longer stays) to store food and leftovers. The fire place was very nice, but be sure to bring your own wood and starter logs. The cabin is minutes from Beech Mountain Resort, and we actually had no problem running back for lunch between sessions. Overall the place was great, and we would definitely go back anytime possible. The "rustic feel" of the place was actually a nice change from some of the other places that we've rented over the years, and really made us feel we were in the mountains. The owner was prompt in replying to any inquiry, and always pleasant to deal with. The only thing that I would warn you of is the roads. During heavy snow or a storm, chains and or a 4X4 will be needed."

  • Great Time. Perfect location.

"The property was very clean and cozy. My kids could walk 10 yards and jump on the slopes. The owner was very responsive. Will definitely stay again!"
