  • Wonderful, well appointed and relaxing

"Creekside is much more than a cabin, it is a well appointed, comfortable house. I am currently lounging on the couch enjoying a cup of coffee, listening to the creek. The house is only munutes away from town, making it secluded, yet convenient. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals and overlooks the living area in an open floor plan. The master bed and bath are roomy and comfortable. While it was too cold to enjoy the porches, we did brave the hot tub, complete with snow flurries! Had we more time, we would have built a bonfire in the fire pit. We will definitely return with my 10 y/o son in the future! Thank you for a much needed bit of downtime, we return home relaxed and rejuvinated."

  • Peaceful, cozy cabin beautifully positioned on a trout stream.

"Our family enjoyed the long June weekend we spent in Boone at this lovely cabin. It is in great condition, beautifully decorated and included all the ammenities to make our stay comfortable while still enjoying the peacefulness of the mountains - two spacious bedrooms with king size beds - well equipped kitchen - washer and dryer - etc. The wifi worked perfectly. Our 15 year old son LOVED the hours he spent wading up and down the trout stream - catching several trout! If you have a fisherman in the group - make sure they pack wadders (not good for bank fishing). Traveling to downtown Boone was very easy (we were there for a baseball tournament at ASU) - taking only 15-20 minutes. We will definitely come back - it was the perfect spot for our family. Please do note - there was no cell phone service. There is a house phone; however, we could not get it to work properly (line was full of static and could not hear). Finding the cabin is a little tricky. They do provide you with a map - GPS is kinda bust up there! Keep your eyes peeled and follow the map closely. Our only frustration was that the wrong key code was given to us by the property management company - then, couldn't call because our cell phone didn't work at the cabin. We had to drive a bit to get cell service to call the property management company - they were very responsive and provided the correct number quickly. The property management company was also very easy to work with as we wanted to come in a little early on the first day (arrived at 2:00 rather than 4:00) - they were awesome to work with and accomodated."

  • Perfect Getaway with Family

"We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers and we planned our winter vacation full of activities in Boone, including ice skating, skiing, hiking, etc. The day we arrived at the cabin and saw the big lot, river running behind the house, an awesome firepit, and every convenience inside the house, we knew our plans were going to change. We spent 5 incredible days enjoying the house inside and out. The kitchen is fully stocked with every cooking ware imaginable for those that like to cook, the outside is big for kids to play outside, there are lots of movies and games provided inside for any taste. Even our teenagers enjoyed disconnecting from technology (even though there is wifi) and spending family time. The cabin is 6 miles away from the main highway, but it could be a million miles. You cannot hear anyone and rarely see passing cars. And if you need supplies, you are only 6 miles away from the main road and a few more miles to all the big name markets and restaurants, including my wife's daily Starbucks run. Already making plans to go in the summer."

  • Beautiful home away from home

"The 2 bedroom/1 bath property is absolutely perfect for a romantic getaway vacation. The area around the property is very scenic. Other than the bathroom having a small shower, the rest of the property is very homey. The kitchen is amazing because it has many amenities from a coffee maker to bakeware so cooking is very ideal. Love the fireplace!"
