  • Exceptional mountain retreat

"My family, including our dog, enjoyed a relaxing break at Hemlock Point. No one wanted to leave come Sunday. The posted pictures of Hemlock Point don't do the property or cabin justice. Our first thoughts were, "it's bigger than it looked and really cute" as we came up to the property, followed by "wow look at that view" as we climbed the wrap-around porch steps and "it's so pretty" as we entered the cabin. The cabin was well maintained, stocked, and very clean. Even the outdoor areas were well cared for despite being submerged in Nature. The only thing we thought missing at the cabin was a reclining chair on the deck for when you couldn't help but close your eyes and enjoy the peace. Hemlock Point provided us an opportunity to relax and enjoy family time. Thank you, Ms. Ellis, for sharing your home with us. We hope to be back soon."

  • Very comfortable Cottage in the Mountains

"This property was a perfect get away for our long weekend in the mountains. It is very conveniently located to the Blowing Rock and Boone areas and sits very near the Blue Ridge Parkway. The hot tub was a welcome addition after long hikes. The cottage was rustic and tastefully decorated on the inside. It was well kept and clean. We would totally recommend this place and hope to stay here again in the future."

  • Great Mountain Vacation!!!!

"The views are what sold us on choosing this home for our annual mountain vacation and they were TERRIFIC!!! A lot of our time was spent lounging on the cozy couches just looking out across the mountains and watching TV, however we did enjoy some day trips as well. Blowing Rock is just a few minutes away and has a really cool downtown shopping experience. Valle Crucis always gets a visit from us to check out the Mast General Store and visit the park there just behind the store annex. My dad and I enjoyed a round of golf at Sugar Mountain Golf Club and it was a great little par 64 course. (HINT) The greens on the course were much faster than the practice green. The leaves were awesome when we arrived and through the first day, but strong winds came our second day there and blew a lot of the leaves off the trees. The home was very well stocked with everything from a crock pot, extra coffee filters, gas grill, even toothpicks.. Just bring your clothes and some groceries!!! One final note well worth mentioning was the timely communication with the owner. We will rent this home again in the future."

  • Hidden Treasure

"My family and I were looking for an escape from the South Florida lifestyle and heat. Paradise Cove provided us with the hidden treasure we were looking for! It's proximity to Blowing Rock and Boone made for wonderful day trips and sightseeing. There were great eating spots all around and plenty of adventure close by. The Cove's quaint accommodations were cozy, comfortable and contained all the conveniences of home. Happy hour was truly enhanced by the fabulous wrap around porch and the cool, shaded hillside it is perched upon. Very easy to lose yourself in the tranquility offered by this relaxing setting. Paradise Cove is a wonderful value, exceeding our expectations, and we would not hesitate to come back."
