If you are looking to get away, this is the place!

What a great place! We stayed three nights and wish it could have been more. This cabin is wonderfully decorated and cozy. It looks like something out of a magazine. Perfect for a couples get away. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The bedroom has a very comfortable bed and is adjoined by a bathroom with a huge shower. Although we only spent maybe a hour in the "TV room" it was decorated beautifully with the hanging lights from the ceiling. The star of this place is, of course, the deck and waterfall! A bottle of wine in one of the comfy chairs and you'll never want to leave! We didn't! Even though this cabin is tucked away on the mountain, it was very easy to get to. There is a wonderful country/craft/pottery store in nearby Micaville. Maples adjoins the store and is a great place to get a cup of coffee and sweet treats. Also, Burnsville is only about 15 minutes away where there is an Ingles grocery store. We spent the better part of a Saturday checking out the shops and farmer's market in downtown Burnsville. It was also only about 45 minutes to Asheville and maybe an hour to Mt. Mitchell. The owners are wonderful and will gladly show you around the gorgeous property and give you directions to nearby locations, as well as dining options. We can't wait to book our next vacation here, hopefully in the winter or fall!

Absolutely great cabin for a get away. We are a group of pretty serious rock hounds since we were kids. We attended the Gem and Mineral Show in nearby Sprice Pine. Couldn't have been a better experience. Kitchen is stocked well. Bed are very comfortable. Views are amazing! It worked great for 3 couples. Everyone had plenty of room and privacy. We will definitely be back !
