  • Beautiful and quiet with stunning view

"This place is perfect. Clean, with unique style, provided with everything that is needed and most important with fully equipped kitchen. View from the patio is stunning and the lake itself is quiet and not as crowded as Lake Lure. We enjoyed our every day. We went kayaking and fishing. Drove 15 minutes to Lake Lure beach with waterslides and 30 minutes to Chimney Rock park. Big "Thank You" to the house owners."

  • Tri- family vacation

"We enjoyed our stay at Bat Cave. We had six adults and two children and were plenty comfortable. The hot tub was nice, the kitchen was modern, the massage chair was great. The beds were some of the best we've ever had in a rental. Bruce was always available when we had questions and was very nice. I would highly recommend staying with BatCave river cottages."

  • Wonderful

"We loved our stay at River Rose cottage!! It was only my husband and I so we didn't use much of the house. The cottage was cozy, comfortable and clean. Loved being right on the river. My husband caught plenty of trout. We were lucky with absolutely beautiful weather the 5 days we were there so we spent much of our time outside. We would definitely come back again!"

  • Gorgeous Little Cabin Tucked Away From It All

"This gorgeous little cabin was the perfect getaway for my husband, our toddler and I! Although the foggy/rainy weather hampered the view for the majority of our trip, we still enjoyed the back porch swing, ethereal foggy mountain views and lovely surrounding property. It wasn't that hard to get to, either - and the location is gorgeous. Saluda was a quaint little town (we enjoyed Green River BBQ for dinner one night, and shopping at Thompson's & MA Pace grocery stores). The majority of our trip was spent at surrounding waterfalls and parks, making this cabin's location ideal. I would highly recommend it for those traveling with a little one - the location was quiet, plenty of room to bring a pack-n-play (our son slept in the corner of the master bedroom with us) and he loved taking a bath in the clawfoot tub! Overall, we had a relaxing time and felt our money was VERY WELL SPENT at this beautiful cabin. Wish we could have stayed longer and we will definitely be back!"
