  • Best view in the world

"The view is one captured in paintings and photographs! Marvelous house well suited for families with multiple gathering areas inside and out. Drive up was easy, although house is on a ridge. Kitchen well equipped and there is a well stocked cupboard of spices. Owners are very accommodating. Lots of art studios in area and good food. However it is impossible to get reservations at local top rated restaurant, so call days in advance if you are trying to eat there. Actually our best meal of the week was home cooked peaches and pork chops and veggies from local farm stand on main road! My sisters and I drank coffee at dawn on the porch each morning and wine at night. Stars awesome! Never even got to the fire pit, but that is nice, too. We hope to return annually, it was that wonderful!"

  • Stunning Home, Stunning Location, Stunning View

"We traveled to Beech Mountain in January over the MLK Holiday Weekend and had the time of our lives! We had 3 families in our group and had ample room at this beautiful mountain, golf course home. Elise was so friendly and helpful, always willing to answer our questions without hesitation. The house is beyond gorgeous and absolutely breathtaking. We had a beautiful snowfall the day before we left and the kids had a blast sledding down the golf course right outside the back door! The ski resort and restaurants are within 10 minutes travel time. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this trip. Thank you Elise for sharing your home with us! One last thing...make sure you have a 4 or All Wheel Drive or chains. We learned the hard way, but made some great memories during our adventure up the snowy mountain!"

  • Cozy and clean unit

"The building in the picture is 3 stories and has 3 units. The entire 1st floor is one unit. The 2nd floor and 3rd floor are split down the middle to create a front unit and a back unit with the units having 2 floors each. This unit is the back top half of the building. Which makes it more private than the other units. I think it is important to understand you are going to have neighbors. I thought this rental was the entire building when I was looking at the unit online. Once I got over the initial surprise of having neighbors (one with noisy dogs), we appreciated the inside of the unit. It is clean and has everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub, kitchen and the bedroom on the top floor. The location is great. Make sure you check forecast temperatures when you go in the summer. There is no Air Conditioning!!"
