  • Great couple get away

"My husband and I were looking for a very quiet cabin for a relaxing getaway before baby arrives :). This cabin provided just that. The owners were very reachable but not in your face at all (we were in touch as needed via text but never actually met). The cabin was very clean. I'm a stickler for clean bedding and bathrooms and these were great. The cabin is basically one big room plus the bathroom so good for a couple (no bedroom privacy). The other cabins only had people in them for one night and we never really heard anyone else so it was very quiet. The cabin was heated very well (we actually got too hot the first night! :)). Cascade Falls hike is very close (? 3 minute drive from cabin). You are right off the parkway so it is really easy to go explore for the day. Took us about 20-25 minutes to do an impromptu lunch trip to Blowing Rock/Boone. They were gracious enough to allow our dog as long as she stayed off furniture. Kitchenette had a mini fridge, microwave, plenty of dishes, a few pots, a heating plate (two burners), a hot water heater, dish rack and dish soap, and a single cup coffee maker. Small amount of toilet paper provided. Travel size shampoo and conditioner provided. Overall very happy with our stay here and look forward to coming back."

  • Amazing House

"This house is fantastic. Amazing decor, furniture, views, amenities. It is in a very convenient location - about 10 minutes from a Food Lion and 20 minutes from downtown Boone, and ~45 minutes to Sugar Mountain. The kitchen is huge and updated, making it easy to feed our group of 12 that stayed. Plenty of room to spread out within the house if wanted, but the rooms are big enough to have everyone together at once as well. Really my only gripe is with the pool table - there was no chalk for the cue's, and it didn't seem like there ever was any chalk applied to them. It resulted in a very slick tip, making the pool table almost unusable. I called the management number and left a message to try and arrange for some chalk at the house, but never got a message. Not a huge deal, but we were excited to use the pool table. We will be coming back to the mountains, and specifically to this house. I can't recommend it enough!"

  • Beautiful View!

"This house has one of the best mountain views in the area. It sits on a golf course as well which was fun to play (it's a mountain course so bring plenty of balls). Our family of four had a very relaxing and fun stay. The house is clean and well cared for, fire pit is the perfect place to roast hot dogs and watch the sunset. Stone Mountain State Park is a short drive and has plenty of hiking opportunities. I would definitely recommend this. Owners were enjoyable to work with as well."
