  • Had a nice quiet time. A much needed get away.

"We had a wonderful time in the chalet. Had everything we needed. The view is spectacular. Especially in the fall of the year. The colors are breath taking! The kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials. There is something special through the whole house. We were able to visit friends at Black Mountain Campground which is right up the road going toward Mt. Mitchell. A beautiful sight at the top of the mountain! Our only regret is that we didn't get to meet the owners of this sweet chalet. Thank you Hal & Katherine. You have a very special place."

  • Beautiful & secluded cabin

"We had an incredible experience at this cabin. The house is brand new, super clean & very upscale. Great layout with 2 bedrooms on the main floor & master upstairs. The basement was incredible too, we didn't realize there was so much space- there was a pool table, kitchenette, fridge, full bath & fireplace in there! You could also walk out from there to the awesome fire pit area. We were honesty blown away by this property. The area is close to some great hikes, waterfalls & a mine village but that is about it. If you are looking for a time to get away from the hustle this is it. Its over an hour from Asheville & Mt Mitchell but there is plenty of hiking around & the Blue Ridge Parkway is just a couple minutes away. We loved it, would highly recommend & would love to go back."

  • Lovely cabin in a quiet setting

"My family really enjoyed staying in the Dreamcatcher cabin! The location was definitely off the beaten path, in a quiet, secluded community. The cabin was clean and spacious, and sitting on the deck, we were surrounded by trees and a narrow (but pretty) view of the mountains. We loved using the grill, outdoor firepit, and indoor fireplace- it rained a few nights but we still got to enjoy s'mores. The nearby Ingles grocery store was one of the nicest I've seen. I would definitely stay here again, but the location seems more fit for getting there and staying there than a lot of coming and going (what we did). The king sized bed in the master was appreciated, as were the two separate beds in the other bedroom, as my kids cringe at the thought of sharing a bed. A really nice touch was that both the firepit and the fireplace had all the wood in place when we got there, all we had to do was light them. There were even bundles of sticks ready for more fires just inside the front door. All in all, a very enjoyable stay!"
