  • Hidden GEM!!

"Reserved a 3 night stay for our family retreat. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. From the moment we arrived, everyone was amazed at the breathtaking views of the mountains, the luxurious feeling of the home, and the comfort we all had despite the fact that we were a very large group. The family enjoyed our retreat only wished they could have stayed longer! No worries.... we will be back next year but for a longer stay! This is a hidden gem in North Carolina!!!"

  • Our family(19 of us) spend New Years At Paradise Mountain State

"Cannot say enough about this beautiful and big house where we spend a beautiful vacation, and quality time as a family. Very convenient for a big family with grandkids ranging from 19 to 2 years, plus 5 couples. We all had wonderful accommodations and even thou we were all together, we had enough space to have down time. The views are incredible, the wrap around porch amazing, and the fire pit was enjoyed by all almost every night. You feel you are secluded but actually a lot to do within half an hour. Thank you to the owner Natalie , since the time that we rented the cabin, she gave us a lot of information in regards to activities and places to see. Very hard to get everybody together for a vacation like this but when we do it again we will Definitely go back ."

  • Beautiful views, awesome back porch, great trip

"This property is a really cool spot in a very underdeveloped part of North Carolina. I'm a native of NC, having grown up in the Asheville area, and this was my first time staying and hanging in the Yadkin Valley area. This house is fantastic for our couples trip (late 20s/early 30s with our dogs) and provides lots of privacy and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and southern Virginia. The porch is the main feature with great rocking chairs, tons of space, and a fire pit for the cold nights. The dogs absolutely loved having 90 acres to run around on and the property is easily accessible all over on foot. Sparta, NC is just up highway 21 and provides for easy access to local shops, restaurants, a Lowe's Food and Food Lion, and a local ABC store. Round trip to the store and back is around 20 minutes and the drive is half parkway and half very nice highway. We highly recommend this property and really enjoyed our stay."

  • Perfect family weekend

"We traveled here with our grown children and their spouses for a family getaway. We were surprised by the convenience of the location to town and other amenities. The house is decorated tastefully and has been updated throughout. We found the living room and kitchen comfortable in seating our group of 8 adults. The beds and linens- of which there were plenty- were extremely comfortable. We greatly enjoyed the hot tub, back deck + outdoor heater during our stay. A highlight of the trip was our visit to the winery. We had a wonderfully fun time together and were pleased that this activity was included in our stay. In sum, we were extremely satisfied in this property & property managers from the time of booking to the end of the trip and would highly recommend it."
