  • WONDERFUL TRIP!

"We just got back from our trip to this cabin. It was wonderful. The area is beautiful, the cabin was clean, and the price was awesome. The owner was VERY easy to communicate with. Prior to purchase, I texted him and he was quick to respond. There is a beautiful lake and a small park across the street from the cabin. My two kids played at the park and had a great time. They also got to catch fireflies in the front yard of the cabin. We had a great time and I would definitely come back!"

  • Total Privacy, nature, rustic charm with all the amenities!

"We had a very peaceful 4 nights in the cabin! Susan was very responsive with details of our trip and answered all of my questions. The property offers total privacy. We didn't see a soul the entire time. There's a long, corn lined track up to the cabin which was great for walking our pup each day. He cabin is surrounded by woods and a very short hike in the back to a small flowing creek. Butterflies were everywhere! We LOVED sitting on the porch in the rockers and enjoyed a great rain fall - we were under the safety of a tin roof (perfect for the rain). The central air was great for the hot days and the deletion of DVDs was amazing! Almost anything you can think of was included in the collection. We had a wonderful dinner at the nearby Harvest Grill (avg $30 entrees but very good food and service) and great place to take a walk after dinner (vineyard, pond, trails, bridges). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you like a rustic feel and want total privacy this is the place for you."

  • Incredible mountain and vineyard views

"We just spend a week at the Winery House. The setting is gorgeous and the house far exceeds the one-line description and pictures. Mt. Airy is a very beautiful area. The mountain views are incredible. The Master bedroom and bath were large and comfortable with a walk-in shower. The other three bedrooms were nicely sized. The second bath has a tub/shower combination (9 month old twins appreciated the tub!). The living room and dining room were nicely furnished with plenty of room for everyone including the two crawling everywhere. IKEA furniture was used to furnish the house and everything looks great! The kitchen is large and very well equipped. The wine bar and sink provided a great prep area. The screened in porch looked out on the vineyard and mountains. Early mornings and sunsets were not to be missed. Deck has seating for 10 with plenty of open space. The screened porch and deck over look the back deck of the Round Peak Winery. Live music Saturday at the winery made for a fun evening from the porch. Walking out to the gazebo and stopping in at the winery later afternoon for a glass or wine or beer were an added bonus. There were four adults and 2 babies. We had plenty of room and were very comfortable. The house was very easy to find and very clean. We highly recommend this house for vacation. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. New pictures and descriptions are needed ASAP to show off this great house and property."

  • Heavenly Perfection

"We have stayed in cabins all over the western part of North Carolina and eastern part of Tennessee, and I have to say, this is one that we will definitely be back to. It wasn't the fanciest one, or the largest, or the one with the best mountain views. But it was gorgeous, and peaceful, and we had private nature trails on which to hike, with seating hidden all along the trails. There is one perch high above the cabin, where you can watch the sunrise in the valley, overlooking yonder mountains. I thoroughly enjoyed the hammock below the fish pond. My daughter loved feeding the fish from the stash on the porch. The waterfall was lit so you could still see it at night. The fire pit along the waterfall was relaxing. I could have spent days there without ever leaving the cabin. Firewood was provided for the fireplace. Our girl loved the daybed (with trundle) up in the loft. We were there to visit nearby Stone Mountain, but it was also just an hour's drive to Pilot Mountain, and Mt. Airy, which we also visited. Bed was fairly comfortable. The cabin had a nice smell to it, and there were plenty of candles for atmospheric lighting. Cable and WiFi worked wonderfully. We cannot wait to return."
