"We have stayed in cabins all over the western part of North Carolina and eastern part of Tennessee, and I have to say, this is one that we will definitely be back to. It wasn't the fanciest one, or the largest, or the one with the best mountain views. But it was gorgeous, and peaceful, and we had private nature trails on which to hike, with seating hidden all along the trails. There is one perch high above the cabin, where you can watch the sunrise in the valley, overlooking yonder mountains. I thoroughly enjoyed the hammock below the fish pond. My daughter loved feeding the fish from the stash on the porch. The waterfall was lit so you could still see it at night. The fire pit along the waterfall was relaxing. I could have spent days there without ever leaving the cabin. Firewood was provided for the fireplace. Our girl loved the daybed (with trundle) up in the loft. We were there to visit nearby Stone Mountain, but it was also just an hour's drive to Pilot Mountain, and Mt. Airy, which we also visited. Bed was fairly comfortable. The cabin had a nice smell to it, and there were plenty of candles for atmospheric lighting. Cable and WiFi worked wonderfully. We cannot wait to return."
