  • Cozy Ski Home

"We had a brief, but very pleasant, stay at Hemlock Nob. The home was very clean on arrival and was exactly as described. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, dishware and silverware. The beds were comfortable and we slept 10 with some oversized couches in the living room. The house has a little back porch with a nice view of a brook and the ski slope, which is a short walk or drive away. So you know, it didn't seem like there was internet available, so enjoy the opportunity to disconnect!"

  • Lovely and great location

"This was a lovely property in a great location - very convenient to everything Boone has to offer. The kitchen was up to date and well stocked. This home is very suited for a large number of people as all three floors are separate and distinct living areas. There is even a half kitchen on the lower level. There is a small loft in the upstairs of one of the bedrooms with a climb-up ladder that is perfect for kids. The owner was very accommodating when we requested a late check out as well. We enjoyed our stay here during the summer and look forward to coming back in the winter months! I would recommend this property to others."

  • Amazing!!! Great place with everything you'd want in a mountain retreat.

"Breathtaking views and a great location. The place is beautifully maintained and has all the comforts of home. Great communication and the owners could have been any nicer. We can't wait to go back. Everything is clean and well kept. It's the perfect getaway for summer and winter, right in the hart of everything. We stayed with friends (another couple) and had such a wonderful couple of days. Highly recommended."

  • Great experience at Skyleaf

"Overall we enjoyed staying at this property for our two weeks of vacation. It was very reasonably priced and provided lots of space to spread out. The view of the mountains was excellent out the back sliding glass doors. Its location on Sugar Mountain provided easy access to and from the mountain for day trips and quick visits to the local grocery stores. The sliding screen door for the windows was a problem. I was not able to fix it, not sure it is fixable given the height of the carpet. We put out bird seed on occasion, but we got several unwelcome visitors-i.e. crows, squirrels, raccoons, and so forth. Some of the furniture is quite worn, but didn't bother us all that much. We noticed that one set of windows in the main bedroom fogged up if they were open overnight. We highly recommend staying here."
