  • Comfortable accommodations with a beautiful view.

"Enjoyed my stay in this 2/2 condo. The furnishings were comfortable and the kitchen had everything I needed. Be aware that the mattresses are quite firm, which was good for me. The facility amenities were as advertised. The owners were very responsive and provided all the needed information. The one key criticism was that the TV listings showed approximately 50 - 60 cable channels, but the TV's only delivered the basic 10, similar to having an antenna. However, a compensating factor is the huge movie collection (400+ titles, from early 2000's to 2013). The only other disappointment was that renters cannot park next to the building, even when there are spaces available. The facility has shuttle service to the parking lots a little lower on the mountain, and the guard at the gate is very quick to alert the shuttle when you pull in the lot. However, it is still a bit inconvenient to make the transfer from your vehicle to the shuttle for the short ride to the building--especially when you have stuff to carry. This is not a concern when first arriving or leaving. You can park briefly by the main entrance to load and unload your vehicle and take your luggage to the condo. For anyone who does not think these two criticisms are a big deal, then I would recommend staying here. The views are wonderful, and at this elevation (5100 feet), the air is cool and fresh!"

  • Very nice, beautiful view!

"We stayed for a long weekend and went snowboarding with the kids. The view was fantastic - long range views and a great view of Sugar Mtn ski resort. The condo was probably one of the cleanest, well-equipped places I've stayed in. The furniture and beds were very comfortable! We enjoyed the slopes in the day and used the indoor pool in the evenings. The resort staff were very helpful and everything was extremely orderly. The owner was very responsive as well! Great place!"

  • Perfect getaway for large group!

"This home exceeded our expectations, which were very high to begin with! Our family of four shared it for a weekend with three other families, making a total of 7 adults and 9 kids. With two spacious floors (each floor with a living room and kitchen) and so many bedrooms and bathrooms, it did not feel crowded at all. There were bedrooms which were perfect for having kids share for fun and to avoid loneliness at night, and there were others that allowed for a more quiet, private feeling away from the others. Everyone slept well in beds that were very comfortable. The house was as clean as, if not cleaner than, any house we've ever rented. The location was a perfect combination of peaceful privacy and very convenient distance to the ski resort and local shops, and also within easy driving distance of other area attractions. There was plenty of space for parking cars. The two kitchens were large and well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. The weather was cold and our party liked cooking, chatting, and eating together in the bright, cozy kitchens, so on this particular occasion we did not take full advantage of the beautiful outdoor area (barn, fire pit, large extensive decks/patios/outdoor eating areas, including ample outdoor seating). We enjoyed a great view of Sugar Mountain and the ski runs, which were beautifully lit up at night. We all agreed that returning during warmer weather is something we will definitely consider, because the outdoor area is so appealing that we know the barn and fire pit would be a big hit with all of us. And if we have the opportunity to return to ski at Sugar Mountain next winter, we will rent this cabin again without hesitation. The owner and manager were prompt to answer inquiries, as well as being very thoughtful and helpful. Very highly recommended!"
