  • Wonderful Cabin Lodging

"This cabin is just as pictured. Two sofas in living room. We didn't use the stove or washer. The master bed comfortable. The bathroom was small but doable. I loved the cabin. I really loved those acres. I would walk it often. The location is awesome. Close to airport and Asheville. We did a ride and picnic on the Blue Ridge parkway. We went into Asheville for 1/2 day. I found myself just wanting to sit and read by the creek back at the cabin. We made a fire in the pit each evening. I loved the dining room barn. I didn't like the road noise from the little country road. You can't hear road noise in cabin. I wish the owners would get more chairs for long sits by the creek and fire pit area. Still, it gets five stars. Roger, caretaker was very helpful. We would come again."

  • Super Sorority Sanctuary!

"The cabin was perfect for our sorority reunion! The cabin is just far away enough from Asheville and Black Mountain to feel like we'd escaped the city, but close enough so there were cute places to eat and shop. We had all of the necessary football channels. The kitchen table was perfect for a large group--we didn't have to feel crowded. The views are amazing! The sleeping arrangements were perfect--plenty of room for everyone and more than enough bathroom space for a bunch of women to get ready in the morning. Though we usually go somewhere different every year, the Wildcat is a serious contender for a "do-over" in the coming years."

  • Great stay

"We came to bike, hike ,visit the cidery in Mills River, and a brewery in Asheville which all were well located in terms of this cabin. All is in place for a very comfortable stay with the small kitchen well equipped to manage any meal. Our weather was unfortunately not conducive to enjoying the fire pit or star gazing . The porch provided great shelter for the bike during the rain. Cows graze nearby on a lovely hill a distance away enhancing that sense of being away from it all. We'd return in a heartbeat."
