  • Gorgeous Home, Great Owner!

"We stayed at Spreeman's Roost while taking part in the Little Tarheel state baseball tournament. This home is beautiful and in a great location. My family and the family that stayed with us were very comfortable in the spacious bedrooms and living area. Karyn was extremely accommodating and friendly! She really went above and beyond to make sure we were able to stay here! I would highly recommend Spreeman's Roost and I can assure you that we will be trying to stay here the next time we visit Boone! Thank you so much Karyn for allowing us to stay in your wonderful home!!"

  • Mountain View Cabin says it all!

"We stayed at the cabin for a long weekend. The view from the cabin was amazing. Everything was so clean and the owner paid attention to all the details. Even with the weather being damp and foggy, it gave us time for much needed R&R. We would definitely visit again."

  • Great Family Reunion

"We had a wonderful family reunion including multiple generations and ages from the 80's to 6 months. The house was comfortable, large enough to give everyone private space when needed and great gathering space to all be together. We cooked all our meals there and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the essential cookware, utensils, etc. for that. We went up to Almond to rent pontoon boats and Carl's suggestion for the route to get there proved to be a beautiful drive. Our day on the lake tubing and swimming was fabulous. There are multiple hikes close by and even the three year old managed to get to the waterfall. There is a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and making s'mores. Lots of good memories were made! The only problem with our stay there was that it was too short."

  • Great little cabin in a good location.

"Great cozy, warm cabin with almost 360 degree mountain views. It sits on a private location high atop a steep mountain road. 4wd access was helpful. Stargazing was very good and it has a nice fire pit and hot tub. Owner was prompt in answering questions via email. We plan to return so we can enjoy the cabin and Hot Springs in warmer weather."
