  • Restful and Peaceful Moments

"My family came to Wolf Laurel for a Wedding in the middle of the week. We just needed space and time to wind down from preparations, and from the big event. The cabin was perfect. The time was quiet and restful. We were able to recharge ourselves before a long drive home. The time we spent together was as much fun as the wedding. Just talking, cooking and enjoying some much needed reconnect time. The kitchen was full of anything we needed. My Grandson enjoyed the complete movie selection. My husband was happy with the comfy beds. I was glad to be with my family, in a space that was comfortable. So, normally we are "Beach People" and that is mostly how we spend our vacation dollars, but we will be making some adjustments to include some mountain trips and I am hopeful that we will return to this cabin. The owner was very helpful and was great with follow up via email and cell phone. So I must say a big Thank you for my time in your beautiful home. For Rest and Peaceful Moments."

  • Great location!

"We just returned from a 4 night stay at Appalachian Escape and we couldn't be more pleased with this cabin! The location compared to Wolf Ridge Ski area can't be beat! We were able to ski in the morning, come back to have lunch and then head back out for night skiing! We were able to fit 3 families very comfortably - everyone had their own bed. The deck and view were wonderful. Driveway was a bit tricky at night as another reviewer mentioned but we didn't have any problems. I would suggest taking your garbage out during your stay and not leaving it until the end as the convenience center was further away than we were expecting. Overall, great visit - perfect if you plan to "Ski the Wolf"!"

  • Very Comfortable

"The house is tucked away high-up in the mountains, but the views are worth it. I stayed here for my bachelor party. John was extremely helpful and very nice. They had the fireplace ready to go and all the amenities we needed. It is about 45 minutes from downtown Asheville and 20 minutes away from an Ingles in Mars Hill so we went ahead and grocery shopped in Mars Hill. If you are looking for time away from the city and peace an quiet this house is perfect. I will certainly consider this house for future trips."

  • Comfortable getaway

"Our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property! It is easy to get to and everything was as advertised. It does not take long to get in and out of Asheville and the trip back and forth is easy to navigate. Well equipped kitchen enabled us to cook meals altogether and we had no problems at all. The view out of the common area is beautiful--a refreshing sight for those not accustomed to the beauty of the mountains. I would gladly stay at Glenn's place again. He was highly responsive whenever we had a question and was pleasant to deal with."
