  • Cozy. Clean. Comfortable. Convenient

"My family enjoyed this lovely beach home for five days over the Thanksgiving Holiday. The home is immaculate, newly renovated , well appointed with new furniture and offers many of the comforts of home. It is a very short walk to the beach -- about five minutes. We cooked-in everyday as the kitchen is pleasant with adequate seating for a family of four. I think the owner is still working on stocking the kitchen with kitchenware, but like I said, we managed to get a Thanksgiving Dinner on the table with what was available. The living room is cozy and comfortable and full of day light. The living room and the master bedroom also have flat screen t.v.`s which was great for "movie night" and watching the games. Their are two porches --both with Adirondack chairs -- and the back porch off the master bedroom is private with mostly trees and the sky. I like the fact that pets are not allowed but children are well accommodated with bunk beds, toys and games. We would certainly book again and I would recommend it to a friend."

  • Great condo at the beach!

"The condo had everything we needed for a great stay at the beach. The couch and chairs in the living room were very comfortable as were the beds. The deck had a very nice view of the water with nice Adirondack chairs. The kitchen was well provisioned. There were two pools and the beach was a short walk. By the way, Atlantic Beach was awesome! Emerald green and blue water that was very clean. Great waves for body surfing, etc. Certain spots on the beach had seashells to add to your collection. The sand isn't sugar white but was a beautiful tan color that flowed well with the sea oats growing on the dunes. We ate at McCurdy's restaurant (great food and spectacular view of Moonlight Bay) and Shark Shack (great lunch menu). We also purchased shrimp at Atlantic Beach Seafood (on the island) and Captain Jim's Seafood (in Morehead City). Both were good and reasonably priced. Tuesday, a Tropical storm blew through the area so we went to the aquarium in Pine Knoll Shores. Very nice aquarium that included sections for each of the North Carolina regions (mountains, piedmont, coastal plain, and ocean). We were able to watch divers swim with sharks and other fish in the large aquarium. Overall, great place to stay at the beach. We would definitely stay there again!"

  • Beautiful!

"We stayed at The Cox House Labor Day weekend. My brother, who is a Marine got married on the beach at Ft. Macon. Just a short distance away. My parents and most of my siblings, spouses and children stayed together. The house was large enough we all had our own space. But could still spend time together. A hurricane was forecasted on the day we arrived. The owner was so nice and let us check in early. It was a short walk to the beach. The views are wonderful from the deck. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!! We will definitely be back."
