  • Friends reunion and wedding!

"This house was absolutely perfect for our friends coming together from all across the country to celebrate a wedding. It was even better than the pictures-- so spacious and well decorated inside! We had a baby and dog with us as well and it was absolutely perfect for all. We were able to walk everywhere-- downtown, the waterfront and all restaurants and shops. The boats in the garage were the perfect touch for us to enjoy our Beaufort vacation! We will definitely be back!"

  • Comfrotable and well appointed!

"When we arrived, the house was very clean and welcoming. The owners truly care about making your stay enjoyable and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and roomy. All four of us were in the kitchen at the same time and had room to spare! It's in a very nice neighborhood with friendly neighbors. We spent many hours relaxing and enjoying the breezes on the large front porch. It was a big hit. Beaufort is a wonderful place to vacation and relax. You can go most everywhere without even getting in your car. Plenty of great restaurants for any taste and budget. The owners were great to work with and very attentive. We would highly recommend Beaufort House for your stay. We hope to return in the early Spring next year!!"

  • Awesome family vacation spot!!

"Everything about this house was just wonderful! Everything and more than we expected! It was perfect for our big family, including 6 adults, 6 kids and a baby. There was a room with a crib and even a small loft that the kids loved going up to. The kids looked forward to feeding the animals each day and they caught their own hermit crabs right from the beach. The kayaks were super fun for kids and adults and the huge porch was a perfect spot to take a nap on the oversized hammock. All you really need to bring is a bathing suit (I'll pack much lighter next time) because all needed amenities like towels, kitchen utensils, shampoo, trash bags and paper towels are all available. Definitely a hidden treasure and we all look forward to returning! Thank you Pam and John for a wonderful stay and your fantastic hospitality!"

  • Seaside town getaway

"The cottage is very clean, well- and artistically-furnished, and plenty big for my sister and me. We appreciated that it was well air-conditioned because our stay was in the height of summer. We really enjoyed going places on the bikes that are provided, as well as just walking through the historic district down to Front Street and the boardwalk along the waterfront looking across to Carrot Island. My sister saw horses on the island from the Beaufort waterfront. We enjoyed outings to Atlantic Beach (for swimming), the Rachel Carson preserve (Carrot Island) for nature walks, and via the Harkers Island ferry to the Core Island lighthouse (National Park Service). Beaufort is a perfect combination for swimming, history, and nature appreciation. The owner was very friendly and solicitous to our needs. I'd come here again and recommend it to friends and family."
