  • Absolutely perfect!

"Everything in the condo was well maintained, incredibly clean, and thoughtfully put together. I hate to admit it, but I am a bit of a snob. I've been in the hospitality industry for years, so I notice when things are not quite right or missing. This was a place where we wanted for nothing. The layout itself is perfect. But, the comfort provided by the beds, soft linens, plush towels, and great kitchenware put this condo over the top. There were puzzles, games, and movies. Even the height of the table on the back deck was just right (the railings are high for safety purposes, but the tables are more of a pub height so that your view of the sound is unobstructed.) It is only a short walk to the beach, and an even shorter one to the pool, grill, or spa facilities. We were here for a destination wedding, and after laboring away trying to decide where we were going to stay, I would say we definitely chose our home away from home wisely. I'm pretty sure everyone else was a little jealous😊 The only thing I wish had gone differently, is that I wish we could have stayed longer. I am very much looking forward to our next stay!"

  • Family Vacation

"My family (18 of us) rented both East and West Kindred Spirit and had such a wonderful time. We were there for a week and enjoyed the pool, walking the beach. All the guys even got to boogie-board with 15 foot waves coming in. It was a beautiful time for all of us to be together! I so loved the early mornings on the upper deck!!"

  • Great Location and Affordable Price

"No Wake Zone East was perfect for our family of 7 adults and one infant. Here is why: - Location: This place is situated as close to the ocean as you can get with beautiful views up and down the beach. Close to the pier and also grocery, several good restaurants and other amenities offered by Emerald Isle. - Layout: With most of the bedrooms on the middle level and the living space on the top level, we didn't have to worry about waking the folks that went to bed early or our infant. All of the rooms provide ample space too. - Fully stocked: All you need to bring are some clothes and a beach towel. Jackie has everything else you could possibly need from a fully stocked kitchen, linens and bath towels, beach chairs/umbrellas/toys, comfortable queen beds in each room (except the kids room on first floor) and even toilet paper and paper towels. She even had a high chair, play yard and crib with mattress for our infant. - Price: Extremely reasonable given the beautiful ocean front location, number of bedrooms and other amenities offered. - Owner: Super nice, laid back and easy to work with. This place is as advertised and the owner is great to work with. Are there fancier places in Emerald Isle - sure, but you are gonna pay. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, fun, ocean front location at an affordable price this is your place."

  • Beautiful Home! Beautiful Views!

"We loved our time at this beautiful beach home! The location is spectacular -- literally only steps from the beach -- with ocean and sound views from every room. We enjoyed spending time outside on the wraparound decks, the perfect place for morning coffee, afternoon drinks or just gazing at the ocean. The house is immaculate and spacious, and was comfortable in every way. Beach Retreat East has everything needed for a great time at the beach. Thanks Sammy for sharing your beautiful home with us!"
