"We spent a memorable Christmas week at Wind Drift East!
Judy was a pleasure to work with. She's kind, attentive and a wealth of information about the area. Her responsiveness is unsurpassed!
Our party consisted of extended family and our 3 teenagers (8 people total). With an extremely well-appointed kitchen, we were able to make Christmas dinner, bake biscotti and have meals readily available for our ever hungry group.
The space and amenities are endless. With extended family and bedrooms on 3 floors, everyone had their own sleeping areas and bathrooms. Never once (even on the one rainy day) did we feel cramped at the home. We were beyond pleased with the state of the home upon arrival. Incredibly clean and tidy, with all things in their place. Judy and the housekeeping team take pride in the work and it shows!
Judy and Mike also take pride in the maintenance and amenities of the home . (I'm especially fond of the high end washer and dryer)
The proximity to the sand via the walkway is stellar. It was easy to grab coffee and sit out on the walkway stairs or sitting area just a few feet from the beach.
There was ample parking for 3-4 cars, enough trash receptacles for the loads of wrapping paper from Christmas morning, and an abundance of dishes, flatware and glasses/cups. We were absolutely impressed with the abundance of kitchen tools and accouterments.
Linens were plush and comfortable, with extra blankets and pillows easy accessible. TV's in every bedroom made for little bickering among the children! (that made for very happy parents too)
As for location, it's situated a stone's throw from Dollar General and Flip Flops, perfect for quick fill in trips and WHOOPS- I forgot batteries!
The kids spent time fishing and hoverboarding around and thoroughly enjoyed the week!
I HIGHLY recommend staying at Wind Drift East. 5 stars isn't enough!
The wonderful, personal experience with Judy and booking is just a taste of the fantastic stay you will have at this property!"
