  • Has everything you want and then some!!

"We stayed here to spend some time with our Marine stationed at New River before he left for Japan for 2 years. Had absolutely everything wanted at the house to make it feel like he was at home. Able to cook any home cooked meal he wanted with fully furnished kitchen and very nice gas grill. We had roller coaster weather while there, 80's and sunny then snow. Short walk to beach was enjoyed during the warm weather. Gas fireplace made it warm and cozy on snowy day. Younger kids wanted to move in permanently and still talk about it as "our beach house". Would recommend Sunkissed to everyone!!!"

  • Never had a better View of the Beach in Dozens of VRBO Rentals

"If you crave a close-up and un-obscured view of the Beach, dunes, easy walking hard pack beach, and fewer people, then this is the PERFECT property for you! We have rented dozens of VRBO beach houses over the years, and I must say, this is the best view we have ever had. The Floor to Ceiling Total Glass upstairs is amazing - views while cooking, eating, and lounging on the couches. The Two Tiers of Decks are spacious, with plenty of seating, and they ocean just pounds away with wonderful sound. High Tide seems just steps aways from the walkway, while low tide provdes wonderful shelling opportunities every day. My family found plenty of intact shells, and a great variety of them. Emerald Isle has a small town feel, and we enjoyed the lack of high rise condo's, and the absence of almost any type of resort - mostlly beach houses around here. The Kitchen facilites had everything we needed and we cooked a lot of meals in the house. Several fresh fish markets are within 2 miles, so that was a wonderful bonus! We loved the town of Beaufort, NC immensely - we even went back a second time. A great waterfront with some of the best Antebellum homes (and much earlier into the 18th Century) that we have ever seen. We greatly enjoyed Roland's BBQ in Beaufort, as well as the waterfront Restaurant Spouter Inn. The Marine Mueseum in Beaufort is also first class and FREE. Also, Don't Miss going on a ferry boat to the islands - what a wonderful journey, and it will be a highlight! Debbie was a great owner to deal with, all questions answered promptly, and she makes payment easy. We will return on our next visit to see our son who is stationed at the nearby Marine Base."

  • Great house, perfect location!

"We really enjoyed staying at Shorebreak. We walked out to the beach every day after waking up looking at the ocean. The house has adjoining rooms which was really cool to be able to have 2 full houses in 1. Would definitely stay here again. Lot's of boogie boards and surfboards and sand toys were already there for us. I love drinking my morning coffee on the deck looking at the ocean. We saw dolphins every day. Can't wait to book this again next year. Thanks!"

  • Very clean and close to the beach

"We loved how this house was so close to the beach access. It was clean with nice sized rooms. Definitely recommend."
