  • Great Family Property for multiple generations!

"We loved our stay at this beach home! With ages 70 to 2 this house was perfect for accommodating a large family with a great open living area for all and bedrooms on 3 different levels added to privacy. The four children loved the kids room complete with fish pillows. The views from decks of 3 bedrooms and out the living area were amazing. We saw Dolphins before we even unpacked the car. We enjoyed the extra seating on deck closer to the beach to watch kids play in sand. We enjoyed the extensive dvd collection including Clint Eastwood movies! The dollar store was a convenient quick walk away. I highly recommend this lovely family beach home. We would love to stay here again if the occasion arises."

  • Stay at Three Seas, Emeral Isle, NC

"We had a great stay at the Three Seas. The house was great for our family size. Great location and access to the beach. Unfortunately, my son was running down the boardwalk out to the beach and snagged the bottom of his foot onto a nail head that had popped up requiring us to take him to urgent care for treatment. It took a good sized chunk out of the bottom of his foot. Their were a couple other nailheads that had popped up, so the owners should definately have those boards screwed down so future accidents don't happen. My kids were disappointed that the pinball machine that was pictured online through VBRO was not working, but they go over it. The owners should also get a larger toaster....two slot for a house that sleeps 10-12 people is too small when trying to make breakfast for large group. Other than that, we had a great time and will definitely be using VRBO site again for future vacations."

  • Wonderful oceanfront duplex!

"We loved staying at this spacious duplex. We've been to Emerald Isle many years which is our favorite place to stay on the Crystal Coast, but this was the first time renting via VRBO.. The place was well maintained and furnished. The kitchen was fabulous for cooking all meals! (We have found that getting our own fresh seafood from Captain Willis' seafood and cooking it ourselves is better than what we'd get at the local seafood restaurants.) The living room was very comfortable and we loved the 2nd story deck overlooking the ocean. There were plenty of great books and magazines for your reading pleasure - and puzzles! The owners were extremely nice to deal with and helpful. The ONLY downside to renting this place is that the realty company, Century 21 who was handling the payment, would not accept a credit card for payment (!), so we had to drive across the bridge over to Cape Carteret to get a personal check from Wells Fargo. (Who takes personal checks anymore, much less demands one?!) But that had nothing to do with the owners or the place itself! I'd definitely recommend staying here!"

  • One of the most relaxing vacations in quite a while

"The house was perfect for our needs. The views were amazing and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck or even just sitting in the nice AC in the heat of the day looking at the water. I went for long walks each day, and brought home two shells, that still had an occupant (oops- hermit crabs). We really never left the house/beach except to grocery shop and a few dinners out. I had planned to spend the next few years visiting and exploring the beaches along the east coast but now I am thinking I want to go back next year and do it all over again! It was one of the few vacations that neither my husband or I was ready to go back home. We could have stayed for another week easily! The house was spotless and we had everything we needed (but we were looking for a steam pot- made due with a colander though) I wish the area had more restaurant choices close by but we had fun cooking in when we couldn't find what we wanted to eat nearby."
