  • A great family escape

"Our 3 generational family of 13 stayed at the Fort Point House for 4th of July weekend. The house was extremely clean and well stocked for meal prep and serving for large numbers, with plenty of extra table seating. Best of all was the water access for kayaking, paddleboarding, etc. We hope to come back someday. The owners were not there at the time, but responded immediately to any questions or issues, and were extremely informative prior to our arrival. Thank you Paul and Emily."

  • Beachfront living at its best!

"This is the third summer we have stayed at Graley Cuttage and it continues to be our absolute favorite! This spacious cottage is in a convenient location and the beach is beautiful. The owners have equipped the cottage with everything anyone could need or want on vacation. There are plenty of toys for children and adults-- bicycles and helmets, boogie boards, sea kayak....even beach towels and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped and a new refrigerator with crushed ice maker was a hit with all. The bedrooms are all charming in decor with comfortable beds, colorful linens and even some original artwork. The porch is great, complete with rocking chairs. It's the perfect spot for sipping morning coffee or watching the sunset in the evening. We are already looking forward to our next trip!"

  • Seaside town getaway

"The cottage is very clean, well- and artistically-furnished, and plenty big for my sister and me. We appreciated that it was well air-conditioned because our stay was in the height of summer. We really enjoyed going places on the bikes that are provided, as well as just walking through the historic district down to Front Street and the boardwalk along the waterfront looking across to Carrot Island. My sister saw horses on the island from the Beaufort waterfront. We enjoyed outings to Atlantic Beach (for swimming), the Rachel Carson preserve (Carrot Island) for nature walks, and via the Harkers Island ferry to the Core Island lighthouse (National Park Service). Beaufort is a perfect combination for swimming, history, and nature appreciation. The owner was very friendly and solicitous to our needs. I'd come here again and recommend it to friends and family."

  • Best of times

"We rented the property for the first time this year. The house was very nice and is in a great location. The new decks were very nice and eased our concerns regarding decks after all of the deck collapses last year. The house was very well equipped and we certainly didn't need all of the items we brought with us. Tony was great to work with and responded quickly to a minor problem the we came across. I would definitely rent this property again"
