  • Nice House, Awesome Owners

"We just returned from an eventful trip to the OBX and stayed in this lovely house in Rodanthe. First week was five kids, two adults, one dog, windy weather, and one of the adults suddenly down for the count with a torn achilles. The owners of this delightful place could not have been more helpful to me in what could have been a disastrous two weeks. They were responsive and sympathetic and helped get everything working even though neither the fireplace nor the pool were technically supposed to be on. As a result, everyone stayed busy, I stayed (relatively) sane and all of the amenities got a workout. Second week we had friends join us and they too loved all of the extras in the house. For a March/Early April (or any time, really) vacation, I'd highly recommend this house. In the event you have less than ideal weather, there is still plenty for everyone to do."

  • Space for relaxation and reflection

"My two adult daughters and I came to Duck at this time of the year seeking a relaxing, comfortable, and quiet space to reflect on recent life-changing events in our lives. And we found just the place at Craic'n Crabs!. It has plenty of room, but is not so large as to feel like being in a hotel. The kitchen was very clean and well equipped; however, we chose mainly to enjoy the seafood in nearby restaurants. We loved the dining room table and chairs and found the living and sleeping areas quite comfy. But the great views of sunset and sunrise from the top deck were the best! The house's location is ideal for easy access to the beach and the shops and restaurants in Duck. Our drives to the Currituck Lighthouse and the Wright Memorial were not too long and proved to be quite enjoyable. A return stay would be very nice!"

  • Terrific House for Families

"Atlantic Coast Cottage is an amazing beach house, the kitchen is well stocked with cooking items, pots and pans, dishes, glasses, and spices for us to use. After many trips to the Outer Banks, we have found the best house for us. The house is so close to the ocean that is was easy to run back to the house for a forgotten item or lunch and return to the beach. We were able to leave our chairs at the beach with no problem for a few hours mid day. The internet is very fast, no problems for the 17 of us using various devices. The pool is large and has wonderful exterior speakers for our music. Many beach chairs and beach toys for us to enjoy. All in all, it's an amazing beach house."

  • Good Experience

"Pros: Great price and great location. Very close to the beach and restaurants! The house was very spacious and had a well stocked kitchen. There was a pool table and air hockey and multiple tvs. The deck was really nice. Lots of seating in the kitchen. It is dog friendly and has a fenced in backyard. The beds were very comfortable. Cons: The overall house just felt kind of dingy and had a musty smell. The house needs a deep clean, there was insufficient lighting in kitchen and backyard had old boards & cigarette butts in the yard. The first 3 people who showered got hot water but whoever was last got a cold one."
