  • Great location

"We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed and was located within walking and biking distance to the beach and to a long sidewalk along S.Virginia Dare Trail Rd. The bike rental shop was a short walk away. Carl gave us great travel advice and even stopped by to change an outdoor light bulb for us while we were out. We were so glad we could bring our small dog. The cost listed was accurate. There were no hidden fees."

  • Perfect for us

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the second year that we have stayed at this property. My husband and I have a special needs child and we vacation with another couple, our best friends. It's the perfect size and layout for us all to have privacy when we want it. The yard is fenced so my son is safely enclosed. The pool and hot tub are amazing, that's one of the reasons we love the house. The beach access is literally directly across from us, but we still have an ocean view without paying beachfront prices. The owners are so sweet, and take great care. This year we arrived the same day that tropical storm Hermine was moving out. There was some damage but they came over as soon as we called to take care of it. The owner came over himself to clean the pool twice. Husband and BFF complain that the wifi is not that good, but it's vacation! That's literally the only complaint any of us had. We love this house, we plan to return in 2015 for our third stay, definitely recommend it!"

  • The house was just what we needed. It had everything you need for a quiet time away.

"The house was great. Front steps got a little slippery when wet. Everything you need is in the house. Beds were comfortable and the living space cozy. I highly recommend this place to ask who need a get away. Close to the beach and great restaurants."

  • A centrally located gem near the beach

"This lovely house is centrally located, beautifully maintained and well stocked. The owner was responsive and generous, even allowing an early arrival when schedules permitted. The appliances are new, the two porches allow for outdoor enjoyment at home, and the setup is perfect for a small family or two. Two blocks from the beach, with beach chairs and boogie boards aplenty, we had everything we needed. Although there are beach houses everywhere, the beach was never overcrowded. Also, for nature lovers the Nags Head Ecological preserve is just a short jog west. Every style and price range of restaurant you would like is within walking distance, as well as clothing and souvenir shops, and a CVS and Walgreens. We were so fortunate to find this gem."
