  • Great house, awesome pool area!

"Just returned home from a week at George's house. Even with a couple days of rain, we had a blast. We have been going to the North Carolina beaches for 20+ years and this is the first house we would go back to without hesitation. The house is nicely kept and updated. The pool area was absolutely the best! We were in the pool every day except one. Also it's only a very short walk to the beach and you can see the ocean from the front of the house so we spent a lot of our time there as well. George went out of his way to be accommodating and you could tell he wanted anyone staying at his house to enjoy themselves. I would highly recommend this house to families with kids since it has both the beach very close and the pool. For us, it had the best of everything, price, location, pool and owner. We are planning to go back and make this house a yearly destination."

  • Beautiful Stay

"The cottage is adorable. While a sand dune blocks the view of the ocean, the view is not disappointing. I watched the sun rise every morning - which was absolutely beautiful. It was also nice to watch the pelican's fly over in the morning and the evening. The deck is a nice size and has 4 chairs and two side tables. The location is also peaceful and quiet. There was also plenty of parking. The inside of the cottage is very nice and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well stocked and there are plenty of bath towels, hand towels, and face clothes on hand. There were 6 people in our group (me, my husband, and 4 young adults in their early 20's). Everyone loved that the cottage was beach front. The pool (which ranges from 3 ft to 9 ft) was also very popular especially in the evening. A couple of recommendations 1) installing at least one full length mirror (perhaps on the inside of the closet in the main living area); 2) having a stronger Wi-Fi connection (the connection was very weak and spotty - we all relied on our data plans) Great stay and nice staff over at the Days Inn."

  • Perfect

"We loved your house and it was very comfortable and clean! Wasn't prepared to ride out a hurricane but was in contact with Teresa and since the house is not on the beach road there were no issues at all. Thank you for the beach parking pass and beach chairs to use. Perfect location and will consider again if just my husband and I want to get away!"

  • It was a nice place

"We enjoyed the house very much. The only issue we had was there were ants in the kitchen. We bought a few ant traps and that took care of them. The deck was nice to sit on at night. It was a little issue to have to go under the house to do laundry, but it wasn't a huge deal. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was a nice size."
