  • Great rental

"I want to say thank you to the Mills for allowing us to rent your home for our vacation. Beautiful home; really enjoyed our time there. only a block and half from beach access; we hope it will be available next year too when we need it. It was very much equipped with anything you would need down to the helpful book with your suggestions of favorite restaurants. I would highly recommend this home to everyone. Thanks!"

  • Quiet and some of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen!

"The property was just as described. The lower deck (2nd floor) was screened in and had the most comfortable chairs on it! The 3rd floor deck off the master had a bench built in and was the perfect place to catch a morning breath of fresh air and watch the birds in the bay. The house was a bit divided in terms of what was air conditioned and what wasn't (the upstairs hallway and the entry way/large dining area were not) but the bedrooms, living room and kitchen were always nice and cool. It was really creatively done and I'm sure it saves a lot of energy. The only issue I could see it posing is if you had a large party and wanted to use the big dinning room table in the middle of the day. It would be cool enough in there to have a later dinner if you opened the windows, it cooled off nicely at night. The master bed was very comfortable with great pillows. The kitchen was very well stocked. The pool was beautiful and the gas grill worked perfectly and was a nice break from being stuck in a kitchen. The property was in a great location. Less than a mile from the hustle and bustle but very quiet neighborhood. It's right down the street from anything you need. I will absolutely stay here again! Nikki was awesome to work with and very quick to respond to questions."

  • Beautiful inside and out!

"We are a family of 4 with two teenagers and this condo was great for us. Nicely decorated- awesome covered deck with views of the ocean. We used the beach access on the north side of the building as it is less condos on that side so not quite as crowded. Condo is spacious, kitchen is well stocked, TV's in both master and additional bedroom as well as living room. Great location! Love the Friday to Friday rental to beat the vacation traffic in summer!"

  • Fabulous week!

"This was our first visit to the Outer Banks and this condo was a great choice. This unit has everything you need to have a great vacation. The kitchen is well stocked with nice dishes, glassware, and flatware; high end cookware; and all the appliances you may need. Very clean and nicely decorated in soothing colors and unique nautical items and artwork. It was just my husband and I, so we didn't need the second bedroom but having the second bathroom was very nice. When we weren't on the beach, we would spend time on the covered deck where we enjoyed the ocean views and the ocean breezes. This unit is on the top floor of the right wing and although it isn't on the front of the building, you still have a great ocean view plus it is more private because you don't share walls with any other units. Lots of great restaurants nearby and the Avalon Fishing Pier is less than a mile walk up the beach. The last week of September - the weather was great - and although the conditions for swimming were hazardous we got to see a lot of great surfing talent. We would definitely recommend this unit."
