  • perfect view, perfect location

"Our first trip to OBX. This place is amazing. The sliding glass doors from the master and living room onto the deck is wonderful for listening to the waves. the view is perfect. We spent a lot of time on the deck when not on the beach. walk to beach is short. The place is well stocked and upgraded. plenty of room. the drawback for some may be the stairs to get to it (about 40), but it is worth every step. We had fun walking the beach, watching sunrises, hunting for ghost crabs and playing in the waves. Thank you for having your condo available. we look forward to another trip to it."

  • Wonderful stay!

"We have never been to the OBX before and had an amazing time. There is so much to do there and Kill Devil Hills is right in the middle of it all. The house, although older in appearance and décor, was clean and comfortable. We had two adults and 5 kids for most of the week and then added two adults for the last weekend and still felt there was plenty of room. One thing I will mention in case you have very young children is that although the beach is within walking distance, you do have to cross a very busy highway to get there. There is a traffic light and crosswalk so it was not an issue for us. Also there is a parking lot right by the beach access if you prefer to drive. We never had a problem finding parking. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Brenda for all the tips on what not to miss!"

  • Perfect

"We loved your house and it was very comfortable and clean! Wasn't prepared to ride out a hurricane but was in contact with Teresa and since the house is not on the beach road there were no issues at all. Thank you for the beach parking pass and beach chairs to use. Perfect location and will consider again if just my husband and I want to get away!"

  • Beautiful Stay

"The cottage is adorable. While a sand dune blocks the view of the ocean, the view is not disappointing. I watched the sun rise every morning - which was absolutely beautiful. It was also nice to watch the pelican's fly over in the morning and the evening. The deck is a nice size and has 4 chairs and two side tables. The location is also peaceful and quiet. There was also plenty of parking. The inside of the cottage is very nice and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well stocked and there are plenty of bath towels, hand towels, and face clothes on hand. There were 6 people in our group (me, my husband, and 4 young adults in their early 20's). Everyone loved that the cottage was beach front. The pool (which ranges from 3 ft to 9 ft) was also very popular especially in the evening. A couple of recommendations 1) installing at least one full length mirror (perhaps on the inside of the closet in the main living area); 2) having a stronger Wi-Fi connection (the connection was very weak and spotty - we all relied on our data plans) Great stay and nice staff over at the Days Inn."
