  • Absolutely Wonderful !!!!!

"This property is absolutely amazing. The pictures are truly reflective of what you will see on arrival. It is quiet and so relaxing, which was exactly what we needed. David, the owner, was wonderful to work with and really helped us with any questions, as this was our first time renting and traveling to this area. I loved the pier and sitting there relaxing and fishing. Anything I could ask for in my own home was readily available in this home. I will definitely rent here ago. Thank you so much for everything."

  • Beautiful Stay

"The cottage is adorable. While a sand dune blocks the view of the ocean, the view is not disappointing. I watched the sun rise every morning - which was absolutely beautiful. It was also nice to watch the pelican's fly over in the morning and the evening. The deck is a nice size and has 4 chairs and two side tables. The location is also peaceful and quiet. There was also plenty of parking. The inside of the cottage is very nice and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well stocked and there are plenty of bath towels, hand towels, and face clothes on hand. There were 6 people in our group (me, my husband, and 4 young adults in their early 20's). Everyone loved that the cottage was beach front. The pool (which ranges from 3 ft to 9 ft) was also very popular especially in the evening. A couple of recommendations 1) installing at least one full length mirror (perhaps on the inside of the closet in the main living area); 2) having a stronger Wi-Fi connection (the connection was very weak and spotty - we all relied on our data plans) Great stay and nice staff over at the Days Inn."

  • Perfect Beach House For Family Trip!

"This beach house was perfect for our 3 generation family beach trip! The house is 3 levels with plenty of space for everybody and wonderful porches and decks all over the place. We spent most of our time on the back deck overlooking the beach. It was nice to be able to sit and have a cocktail and still keep an eye on the kids playing in the sand. The kitchen is small but has everything you could possibly need for cooking large meals plus a large ice maker that kept up well with our crowd. The house was built in the 1930's and has aged well. We loved the character of the home and could tell Katherine and her husband put a lot of love into it over the years. We would definitely stay there again next time we're down in the Outer Banks!"

  • Love this cottage!

"Well appointed cottage with easy access to all things you want to do or see at the beach. Clean, everything practically new, we loved relaxing in this lovely home. The hot tub was great, with plenty of time spent "chilling out" there, and we also enjoyed honing our foosball skills. Also, there is an icemaker that is the envy of anyone - we want one for our house now, haha. Thank you to the owners for a wonderful getaway - it was just what we needed!"
