  • Tucked away homey gem in Nags Head

"Upon arrival our family was greeted by Jesse, the owner of the property and a very nice young man. He took the time to give us a tour of the home along with all other ammenities such as bicycles, kayak, beach chairs, and beach umbrellas that he provides. The linens and towels were new and very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all things needed to cook a great family meal, as well as a gas grill and picnic tables for us to use outside. His home is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood which is walking or biking distance to a public park as well as the beach and many restaurants and coffee shops. Jesse has the best of entertainment including netflix, hulu, and as many cable channels as you could want for those relaxing evenings when you got just a tad too much sun for the day. Jesse has a sweet and adorable cat named Latch who hung out with us on our visit. My family felt as if we were right at home, and Jesse was always available if we needed anything or had questions. Definately our go to home for next summer!!!"

  • Great house for active family

"We loved this house! The pool was great, the decks were great, and the family room/kitchen area was perfect for our family! The bed rooms were a good size, water pressure wasn't that great, but we got over it! Close to grocery stores and Walking distance to a ice cream shop and a great restaurant Red Drum! We are a active family so the beds felt great after running on the beach and swimming! The decoration was great for a beach house! It was great having a bathroom in every bedroom! Some things that i have to say about the house; if you are traveling with a young one, bring your own travel crib. The one at the property is hard and uncomfortable. The dumb waiter didn't work like it was suppose to. Trash under the beds. The pool wasn't heated. The vaccums were terrible! It we all had a great time at the house! It's a beach house! It's not suppose to be perfect! We are already talking about next year!"

  • This condo has it all!

"Having rented vacation property in South Nags Head for many years, we decided to cross the causeway and rent in Manteo for a change of scenery. The pictures of this condo appeared to offer exactly what we wanted. When we arrived, we found it difficult to believe this unit was a rental property. It is in pristine condition, unbelievably spacious, beautifully furnished, well appointed, and comfortable. The decks offer inspiring views of the marina and the marsh. The location provides easy public access to the beach at Jeanette's Pier directly across the causeway; Manteo offers wonderful shopping, dining, and entertainment. In season, you can lounge by the swimming pool and listen to the lullaby of water lazily lapping against the moored boats, and rigging gently ringing against the sailboats' masts. Many thanks to property owners, Jeanine and Gene who are delightfully accommodating."
