  • Great stay!

"We really enjoyed our stay here for our annual family vacation. It was a great location--just a little ways out from the boardwalk so it was a little calmer, but close enough to get down to Britt's Donuts every day. The beach was easily accessible and the porch was a great place to sit and eat dinner. My nephew accidentally left his beloved blanket behind, and Ross was kind enough to mail it to him afterwards. Ross was great to communicate with and work with in booking the place, we definitely hope to return here again!"

  • Well-stocked and perfect location

"This 5 BR 2.5BA oceanfront house was well-stocked and the location exactly 1mi north of Kure Beach pier and 1mi south of Carolina Beach pier/boardwalk was ideal. The beach was recently renourished in Feb 2016 (eg, sand from miles out in the Atlantic is slurried-in to build up the beach) and therefore quite substantial. The sheets must've been 400-count cotton because they were luxurious - nice if you have a sunburn! The photos and artwork/decor were very tastefully done. The kitchen had every possible gadget and serving utensil (sans some good slicing knives) and both drip and Keurig coffee makers. Each room has a TV. The Internet was fast. The front porch was deep with a nice 6-person table for games and cards + 6 rocking chairs. The kitchen table was long and could seat 10 (we did!). Nice gas grill and lots of beach chairs (though some were rusty from the ocean). I especially liked the layout of the master bed with its own bathroom/laundry tucked away down the stairs and away from the noise of the kitchen and living room. We rented this home for our family with adult children and their friends and it was perfect. The living room had a pullout couch but we didn't use it. The house came with all the linens (plus extra) so we didn't have to bring those. There were lots of spices to choose from plus starter paper goods, which helped a lot when we decided to cook. The only issue we had was our son got a cut on his hand from the barnacles growing on the concrete blocks in front of the house in the ocean - so don't climb on those! We did have to bring beach towels, coolers, and a cabana and some extra folding beach chairs. I would hands-down recommend this place to anyone and we have already reserved a week again next year."

  • Vacation House for Everyone's Needs

"What a terrific time we had at this house! My husband meets up with his football buddies once a year. These are big guys who were very comfortable in this well set up home. The elevator helped with unpacking luggage and groceries. It also served well for those with lingering injuries! The main living area was set up nicely. We could all gather comfortably in the open living, kitchen, and dining area. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals or make blender drinks. There was even a crock pot! Our group has a mix of sunbathers and heat haters, but we all felt a part of the action with the covered balcony off the main living area. The chairs were sturdy enough for their 6 ½ foot 350 pound bodies. That’s highly unusual! The owners were easy to work with and take great care of their property. The location is close to everything you need from groceries to The Fat Pelican, an unusual bar that serves from a 53 foot refrigerated tractor trailer – Just walk in and choose your beverage then wander the eclectic seating areas. We would definitely stay here again."

  • Thanksgiving with family!

"We spent Thanksgiving in Carolina Beach. Being from northern New England, it was a different experience. No snow but plenty of beach sand! My husband even went swimming on Thanksgiving Day! Carolyn and Tom's condo was perfect! Steps from the beach, the Boardwalk, shops and restaurants. Could not have asked for a better spot. The condo itself was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Everything was well marked, but subtle, which made life a lot easier when trying to cook Thanksgiving dinner for 10 people. The owners were friendly, efficient and very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend their home away from home."
