  • Wonderful home with tons of space right on the beach!

"Our family had an amazing week in this home. We used the upstairs den as a 6th bedroom for kiddos and the outside enclosed shower was perfect for keeping sand out of the house. The kitchen is big enough for a few people to cook together while others hang out on barstools at the island and keep the chefs company. The beach was wife open and we had tons of space for bocce ball, corn hole, the tents and all the kids sand toys. No battling for a spot on the sand like at other beaches. Elizabeth, the owner, was kind and attentive to work with too. Very accommodating, down to the lists of instructions of how to use the TVs to the spiral bound planning book she sent us in the mail prior to the trip to help us be organized and prepared. My family would absolutely love to stay here again!"

  • Excellent vacation rental

"My family of 5 stayed at Kitty's Place and we had a great time. The house was very clean and well-equipped. It is on a quiet street with a nice view of the marsh. And it's a short walk to the beach, with access at the end of the road. In the car parking area, there were beach chairs and boogie boards. (We assume they were available for us to use.) The house is located towards the west end of the beach, 5 miles from the bridge. It's a pretty quiet town (perfect for us) with a few shops and restaurants. We brought bikes with us and rode up and down Ocean Drive for the 5 - 6 mile stretch. There's also an ice cream shop at the three mile marker, which is walk-able (a longish walk back and forth) on the beach. A few highlights for us....we watched baby sea turtles make their way to the ocean in the evening (the turtle patrol folks were VERY nice and helpful), we saw a painted bunting in one of the marsh areas (bring binoculars if you're interested), we rented jet skis (there are a couple of rental places across the bride), and of, course, we enjoyed the beach itself. The beach area across the house was never crowded. And the water was a really nice temperature. The management company was very responsive when we completed the rental. We did not need to contact them while we were there. All in all, I would definitely recommend this house and hope to return."

  • Couldn't have been better!

"We brought the whooole family and rented both upstairs and down. The kitchen was well stocked--even cooking for the crowd. The house was immaculate and there were lots of little extras like beach boards, grill, puzzles, bikes, Netflix in every bedroom, etc. all ocean front! Everyone from us grandparents to the preschoolers had a blast!"

  • Beautiful Home

"We enjoyed a week at this second row home at Holden Beach. The home is beautiful with striking finishes throughout. It is not oceanfront, however, there are nice ocean views and just a short few steps to the public beach access. The home has an elevator which is highly convenient in getting groceries and bags into the home. The home also has most any amenity one needs for a week at the beach. Holden Beach continues to be one of my favorite beaches in NC and we recommend this home. We hope to have the opportunity to stay again."
