  • Lovely Kure Beach Hideaway!

"Looking for a lovely beach house to unwind? Brigadoon is just the ticket! From the time you arrive, you enjoy a house that welcomes and coddles you. This is not your typical chartered vacation house. The house is immaculate. Surprise treats await. The beach is lovely, with a nice walk to the oldest pier in the US. The house is close to Fort Fisher and a wonderful aquarium for rainy days. You can also catch the ferry and enjoy a nice day in Southport. You can tell the owners want every guest to experience a relaxful vacation. Well done!"

  • Great family getaway

"Wonderful getaway with family. The condo was very nice and comfortable. Enjoyed how close we were to Ft. Fisher and to the aquarium. Our 6 year old enjoyed all the opportunities to explore. Lots of seashells and rocks to collect! Loved that there was an elevator and luggage carts. Also liked that we had access to the storage closet that had chairs and other beach items that we could use. We would definitely stay here again!"

  • Relaxing weekend with spectacular ocean front view from inside and out.

"First of all the owner was very accommodating as due to the past storm we were unable to make it down on our Friday check in. This cut our long weekend short. The owner allowed us to to have a late check out by 5 pm on Monday so we could enjoy an extra day on the beach, which we did. The place was clean, well kept, and had everything you needed. Love the hardwoods in the main area. Being an end unit on the third floor, the back porch was more spacious. The breeze and view of the ocean was amazing. The beach work over the spring paid off as there was actually a beach to enjoy at high and low tide. You can't say that if you go further down the beach heading toward Kure Park as those condos were surrounded by massive sand bags. The walk to the beach was right outside of the unit. Enjoyed the local food. Seafood at Michael's was excellent. Pizza at My Cousin Vinny's was tasty. Breakfast at Kure Dinner is a must. Small place but good food. Try the egg, bacon and cheese on their biscuits. It hits the spot. Can't forget the hot donuts at Britt's. OH my were they good. Decent walk to Pier and short drive to the boardwalk at Carolina Beach. No need to bring chairs or boards as the unit has it all in the garage area. Definitely will stay again."

  • Fantastic vacation

"Beautiful home in a wonderful location. It is a very comfortable well taken care of home with incredible views. The beds are comfy. The kitchen is well appointed. The home has everything you need for a peaceful relaxing vacation. Sit on the back deck and watch the dolphins swim by, sunbath on the impressive beach or jump in the ocean for a refreshing swim. It doesn’t get much better than this. Convenient location to restaurants, shops and entertainment. Can’t wait to come back!"
