  • Great family trip

"We are looking forward to our return trip back to this great vacation rental this spring. We stayed at the house for a weekend in the fall with a family group of 4 couples with 8 kids. The house fit us perfectly between the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen area. We all were able to eat dinner at the large table and we loved having the ice maker. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and overall cleanliness of the house was great. Kids loved the pool and we loved the extra picnic table and seating down there. We enjoyed lunch around the pool a few days. Easy access to the beach and great views."

  • Lovely condo and area

"This was our first trip to OIB (we're used to south Myrtle Beach area), so we had many questions. It also was our first time staying in a condo-we usually stay in a beach house. We weren't quite sure what to expect. Laura answered every question, and quickly. The location is fabulous--the town is beautiful, as are beaches. Beaches are nice and flat, as they are further south. There is a great sandbar to the west, near the inlet, at low tide. The condo is as lovely as it looks in the photos--love the decor. We had plenty of room for our group of 13, and everyone loved it, from kids to grandparents. The condo was nice and clean. The parking level storage area is a great benefit, so you don't need to lug your sandy chairs and surfboards upstairs. There was no noise from neighbors. We loved having the pool option in case jellyfish are abundant, and the elevator was nice for loading and unloading (or for creaky knees), although we did take the stairs quite a bit. The area is quiet, and everyone is friendly. We loved having Lowes deliver our grocery order on the first day. We ate at The Isles (a two-minute walk) for my birthday, which was delicious. We also tried Charlie Grainger's for barbecue and Causeway Gourmet--both great options. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby to choose from. All appliances work well, and the kitchen is well stocked if you prefer to cook your own meals. One huge plus for this girl with a spinal condition was comfortable mattresses! I also loved that there were blackout curtains in some bedrooms. We all enjoyed watching the foxes in the dunes, and the men and kids enjoyed fishing on the Intracoastal (we brought a small boat) and the OIB pier. We thought we'd drive to Barefoot Landing in Myrtle Beach, but we enjoyed OIB so much we never did. We absolutely would rent again."

  • Great Vacation

"We spent a week for our mothers/mother-in-laws 88th birthday. There were 10 of us with and 2 fur babies and we had a wonderful time. The view was great for my mother-in-law, she was not able to go to the beach but enjoyed the view sitting on the sofa. Would recommend and should be even better with a new larger beachside deck."

  • The Beach House

"My two children and I stayed at The Beach House for 2017 spring break. Great house, great location and a great time! It had everything that we needed, including beach stuff, ie chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, etc. Most definitely would stay there again. Duane"
