  • Fantastic location, great views

"My family rented this condo recently. It was our first time in this condo, but we have stayed in couple different ones in the same building complex before. I was very happy with the size of it, definitely the view as well. The kitchen was full size with almost anything you might need to cook for your family. The living room was spacious. The only complaint I have that the floors and bathrooms could have been cleaner. Didn't seem like the condo has been cleaned for a while. Also blinds were very dusty and baseboards were dirty. I don't think it would have bothered me so much if I were there visiting with adults only. Since my toddler were crawling everywhere, I could notice all of it. However, I'm still giving this place 5 stars because I could not find a better place with better views, price and accommodations."

  • Great Beach Home

"This is the second time my family and I stayed at the Adams' home. Its location is within easy walking distance to a few restaurants and the fishing pier, and it's just a short drive to Fort Fisher. The quaint town of Southport is just a ferry ride away, and it's a great place to shop and sightsee. We like the Maritime Museum and the Old Brunswick Jail. Nature lovers would enjoy a hike through Carolina State Park. It offers scenic views of the Cape Fear River and a nice marina as well. The NC Aquarium is both fun and educational. This year they had a very cool dinosaur exhibit. Most of our time was spent on the beach; we searched for shark teeth and shells by day and ghost crabs by night. The kids (adults too) spent hours riding the waves on boogie boards or body surfing. The beach was clean and the water warm. The main deck overlooking the ocean is a great gathering place, and the outdoor sound system enhances the outdoor experience. This home has everything a family could possibly want in a vacation home. The large kitchen opens into the living area making it convenient for food preparation and family interaction. The older children liked their private downstairs quarters with access to the ping pong table and other games. The boys also preferred using the outdoor shower rather than the one in their own bathroom. The entire home is tastefully decorated and comfortable. It was a pleasure meeting Bill Adams; he's very personable and welcoming. There's no other place I would stay when visiting Kure Beach!"

  • Great vacation condo

"The condo is located inside a gated upscale community which is friendly and safe. The owner, Tom Tully, was very easy to communicate with. We were there during TS Hermine and had no issues or flooding problems. The condo is a couple of miles from the beach, but access to the St James beach club made the drive worthwhile. Overall this was a great experience"

  • Excellent!

"The location and condo could not be any more perfect! Great owners. The pictures actually do not do the view/location justice. I don't like writing this for selfish reasons because I want to be able to stay here whenever we want but the stay was wonderful."
